The goal scorer is highly rated Korea's next domestic star player Park JungIn, 18 years old HS senior. He is likely to be called up by both U20 and U22(Olympic qualifier) next year.
This was right before Lunch Box announced his AC squad and the senior team probably was trying to avoid injuries.

I am skeptical of HEJ. He is not bad but not that good. He has so many flaws. I am not convinced of his aerial ability and he looks clumsy when he runs with the ball. He does have good positioning and can hold the ball pretty decently. He looks like the type of guy who is so methodical and not instinctive. His weakness will be full blown if he is up against tall physical CB's (aka Iran).

I am still pissed about SUJ. I wished he is in match form. He is still trying to gain confidence.

I never praised him. I always knew he was limited but couldnt really say much cause he is in decent form at the moment. Just look at his goal vs Hoju. His touch wasnt the greatest but luckily for him the ball rolled in a desirably striking position. He is sorta the CF version of SHM.

HEJ deserves to be called up. JDW over SHJ is questionable.

Apparently, Shin Tae-yong will be commentating for the Asian Cup . What's even the point? the entire country had enough of his tricks, but instead of fcuking off for good, he decides it's a good idea to put his useless "input" regarding the KNT and Bento for the tournament.

there arent any commentators jtbc can go after since most of them are tied to sbs kbs mbc. whatever the reasoning why criticize shin taeyong for putting food on his familys table

Since Asian Cup is around the corner, if we ever match up against Japan in the playoffs, form wise, how do we fair vs them? I want a fair analysis.

    2. Ofc I don't know too much about how Japan's doing - they sure as hell outclassed us in Russia - but on cursory glance it looks like their European contingent's struggling - none of the guys in La Liga / EPL / Bundesliga are getting much playing time

We would only face Japan in the final and that is if they get past Australia and Iran. We have a fairly easy route to the final with Saudi being our likely semi final opponents.

I would like to play us against Japan. It's been a while since we faced them in a competitive match.

There's other means for him to put food on the table for his family, hell he could've even gone to Japan for all I care to manage a J1 J2 side, but instead of taking the offer, he still has the nerves to somehow affiliate himself with the national team in some sort of way, like the fraud Stielike who can't even manage to keep his bitter mouth shut even after running off to China.

Listen, I get you defending him and whatnot, but he is irrelevant/has no business with the national team, so let's not act like bygones will be bygones and think it's all cool for him to stick his noes back in, especially after what he's done since the lead up to the 2018 FIFA World Cup. And surely enough, just because we dumped the defending champions Germany out of the group stage, it doesn't warrant him any merits as if he deserves any.

Can't say much about them considering they are also in the rebuilding phase like us, but what I can say is that Moriyau's Japan is young and they seam to be playing better as a team than previous generations(At least from what I saw and at the moment), plus the fans seem rather pleased with their performances as well. Defensive wise they are shaky although more organized, and offensive wise they are very quick especially on their counters, kind of reminds me of a mix between the Zaccheroni/Okada era with a bit of Troussier.

It will be a tough rival match between them(Always have), but we can hold our ground especially without the likes of Suk and Lee Seung-woo, of course I'd also be fine as long as Kim Seung-gyu isn't watching the post.

unfortunately, as we've all said this past summer, this will be his one trump card that he thinks he always has in his back pocket that will keep him relevant.

will never happen but in a bizarro world, i would seriously worry about your health dude, if he and JHS ended up in the booth covering the NT.

He's legit though. I've watched his games. Probably the best GK right now in Asia.
