Why no love for Morris? Was his injury that bad?

I thought he had a couple decent showings for us early on?

ACL Injury for a one footed player whose only attribute is speed. It’ll be awhile before he works himself back up to a contender.

Garza (too slow, on top of always being injured) and Arriola (repeatedly shown to be USMNT squad depth at best) are still ranked way too high at their positions. Otherwise, pretty good list.

It's been a while since I updated this and I've re-arranged the categories so they're more team rather than league dependent given how top heavy most UEFL leagues are

I am concerned that we don't have a lot of top end players (as usual) but more importantly, we have a lot more red than green.

World Class / Top 32 team
    • Pulisic/BVB (14)
    • Chandler/Eintracht (29) - returning from injury but a key player for them
    Transferring to World Class Team
    • [Steffen/Man City (1)]
    • [Adams/RB Leipzig (26)]
Major League / Top 100 team
    • McKennie/Schalke (49)
    • Wright/Schalke (49) (!)
    • FJ/Gladbach (50)
    • Horvath/Brugge (65)
    • Brooks/Wolfsburg (74)
    • Sargent/Werder Bremen (83)
    • Siebatcheau/Rennes (84)
    • Yedlin/Newcastle (95)
    • Corona/Club America (100)
    AAA Level (Top 200)
    • Gall/Malmo (106)
    • Ream/Fulham (135)
    • Wood/Hannover (162)
    • Morales/Fortuna Düsseldorf (156)
    AA Level (Top 400~MLS)
    • CCV/Swansea (209)
    • Saeif/Gent (213)
    • Cameron/QPR (236)
    • Boyd/Vitoria (239)
    • Lichaj/Hull City (264)
    • Gooch/Sunderland (295)
    • Novakovich/Fortuna Sittard (317)
    • Amon/FC Nordsjælland (359)
    • Hyndman/Hibernian (360)
    • Robinson/Bolton (375)
    A Level Top 600 (Yikes)
    • Green/Greuther Fürth (521)
    • Shaq Moore/Reus (580)
Not sure how to slot these players relative to the list above.

    World Class Irregular/Reserve/Injured
    • Weah/PSG (6)
    Major League Irregular/Reserve/Injured
    • Parks/Benefica (36)
    • Akale/Villareal (47)
    • AronJo/Bremen (83)
    • Klinnsman/Hertha (98)
    • Miazga/Nantes (99)
    AAA Irregular/Reserve/Injured
    • Williams/Huddersfield (103)
    • Stanko/SC Freiburg (121)
    AA Reserve/Injured

club rank by 538 [exact ranking doesn't really matter but broadly works]

Green = potential to rise to higher level
Red = risk of falling to a lower level or getting benched
Italics = American born/raised outside of the US, whose USMNT success apparently indicates that the US' "developmental system fails to produce good players"[/QUOTE]

Three players that I need to vent about:

Keaton Parks. For some reason many around here are not fans of his. I am. I like everything I've seen of this kid, and I'm growing more and more frustrated by watching him stuck at a level lower than his capabilities. He's starting to drift toward the average, bereft of chances to play at a higher level. He could have been vital to our NT with his precise passing and decent vision.

Emerson Hyndman. The other guy in our pool with deep-playing playmaker chops, who for some reason seems to love Scotland and keeps playing there, now as a lateral with no way to influence play directly distributing from a more central position. So far he's stuck with mid-table SPL clubs, he's not an option and yet a player like him remains needed.

Julian Green. This guy has the tools to be much better than he is. I've seen him do stuff typical of a #10, with that instinct for the positioning of the forwards. And his ball control is decent. Yet he shows poorly game after game, as if he didn't care. As if his life had ended when Bayern didn't give him a chance. Big shame, because he'd have been crucial under Gregg.

So there you have it. Three smart, creative players that somehow failed to live up to what they could do. Exactly the type of player we lack.

parks..is so good he can't get in the first team and looks to make less app in the first team then last. On top of that by most accounts he isn't having a good season with the b team. he was a disaster in his one call up he looked two steps slow and didn't even make the 18 in the second match that was a b team at best. The best thing about parks is the wonderful tin hat conspiracies surrounding him.

hyndman..he loves scotland for one simple reason...the competition is BAD. it may even be below a denmark. He can't get minutes with his club in the premier league and it says something that no championship club is interested in a loan because thats where most premier league young players go for loans. He is also 22 he is getting that point where he has to breakthrough somewhere. I am not sure what his contact situation is but he will clearly look at a championship club and may want to think about a league one team he can get a lot of playing time at. Needless to say he shouldn't be anywhere near the usmnt.

green...doesn't have the tools. He is two steps slow, isn't a great passer and doesn't make plays in general as a 10. There is a reason a poor team got rid of him and he is doing ok at a league two team. He also hasn't looked good in his callups. he looks at first glance like he has it but like his previous two clubs figured out the more you see him its just not there.

Green is a good finisher and gets himself in good positions to score goals, but he's not a playmaker. He doesn't have the passing vision, 1v1 playmaking skills or soccer IQ to play as an attacking mid. He's an undersized striker who doesn't have the target game or athleticism to play CF, so he's been used as a winger or CAM. He might occasionally a poach a goal coming from wide positions or playing off the CF centrally, but I don't think he adds enough that he's more than a back up level 2.Bundesliga/MLS player. He doesn't belong anywhere near the NT until he earns it with his play at the club level.

Green is not playing forward, but wide AM. Lletget was not playing wide but in the center with Gio, with Boateng and Alessandrini wide.

    Otherwise good list.

    Excellent list.
I would make the following suggestions:
Romain Gall play RW/CM for club
Gianluca Busio plays AM/CM for club
Ulysses Lanez plays LW/AM for YNT
Konrad De La Fuente play LW/RW for club
McKenzie Gaines play LW/RW for club
Darlington Nagbe play LW/RW for club

Shouldn't Wil Trapp be part of the Trust group since he has played every game in 2018?
Also, Your grouping of CENTER MIDFIELDERS consists of AM(10s), CM(8s) and DM(6s). Maybe you should break that since they are completely separate positions.

I would separate the 6's from the CMs
Also, I would combine wingers with AMs

Oh Lord please get Jesse Gonzalez off
the contender list. He was good for a catastrophic goal allowing error at least once every other match. The only reason he continued to start over Maurer is because FCD favors Hispanic players.

I stopped tracking the Sarachan Coaches Pool awhile back, but with a new coach I thought it would be a good idea to start it up again...

Here is the link to the Google Sheet

So far GGG had 2 games and 1 camp since taking over.

    1 Camps:
    (1) Jan Camp

    2 Rosters/Games:
    (1) Panama, (2) Costa Rica

    -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Rules for this pool:
    • GGG has/had to list a player on a roster or call them up to a camp/game
    • All info (Minutes Played, Caps, Camps etc) is accumulated from when GGG took over

Use the tabs along the bottom of the spread sheet to view positions.

BTY Akale played today with Villareal B vs Sabadell in 2nd B Division in Spain.
He looked good. Just got substituted but looking good and started.

Villareal B is in playoff position in the group. This means that if Villareal manages not to be relegated, Villareal B has a good shot at winning the promotion to La Liga Santander 123 (2nd A Division)

It's been a while since I updated this and I've re-arranged the categories so they're more team rather than league dependent given how top heavy most UEFL leagues are.

World Class / Top 32 team
    • Pulisic/BVB (16) - injured/not really playing; transferring to Chelsea
    • Adams/RB Leipzig (20)
    Transferring to World Class Team
    • [Steffen/Man City (1)]
Major League / Top 100 team
    • Chandler/Eintracht (37) - returning from injury but a key player for them
    • FJ/Gladbach (51)
    • Brooks/Wolfsburg (62)
    • McKennie/Schalke (63)
    • Sargent/Werder Bremen (65)
    • Horvath/Brugge (68)
    • Weah/Celtic (72)
    • Yedlin/Newcastle (77)
    • Siebatcheau/Rennes (79)
    AAA Level (Top 200)
    • Corona/Club America (113)
    • Gall/Malmo (115)
    • Morales/Fortuna Düsseldorf (129)
    • Ream/Fulham (137)
    • Wood/Hannover (198)
    AA Level (Top 400~MLS)
    • CCV/Swansea (213)
    • Holmes/Derby County (228)
    • Lichaj/Hull City (235)
    • Cameron/QPR (238)
    • Amon/FC Nordsjælland (309)
    • Gooch/Sunderland (367)
    • Miazga/Reading (384)
    A Level Top 600 (Yikes)
    • Robinson/Bolton (405)
    • Novakovich/Fortuna Sittard (465)
    • Green/Greuther Fürth (527)
Arguments can be made in how to slot these players relative to the list above.

    World Class Irregular/Reserve/Injured
    • Richards/Bayern Munich (5)
    • Dest/Ajax (9)
    • Ledesma/PSV (28)
    Major League Irregular/Reserve/Injured
    • Akale/Villareal (41)
    • Wright/Schalke (63)
    • AronJo/Bremen (65)
    • Klinnsman/Hertha (75)
    • Hyndman/AFC Bournemouth (85)
    • Shaq Moore/Levante (89)
    AAA Irregular/Reserve/Injured
    • Williams/Huddersfield (103)
    • Mendez/Freiburg (107)
    • Saeif/Gent (176)
    • Soto/Hannover (198)
    • Gloster/Hannover (198)
    AA Reserve/Injured

    A Level Top 600 (Yikes)
    • Kevin Lankford/St. Pauli (426)

club rank by 538 [exact ranking doesn't really matter but broadly works]

Green = potential to rise to higher level
Red = risk of falling to a lower level or getting benched
Italics = American born/raised outside of the US, whose USMNT success apparently indicates that the US' "developmental system fails to produce good players"

Nice work. Stanko is in MLS and Dest is at Ajax. Saief will also be in MLS at the same team. Sabbi is at Hobro. Richards is at Bayern U19. Soto is at Hannover along with Gloster.

I really wonder whether Chandler, Siebatcheu, Ream, Johannsson, Hyndmann,
or Williams should be included. I doubt we'll see any of them in future USMNT rosters for a variety of reasons, of course.

I do not see Williams rising to a higher level. He's been injured nearly the entire season, and Huddersfield will probably be relegated. When he managed to play his club was as forlorn as without him.
Siebatcheu has expressed no interest in the USMNT. Face it.
Hyndman was retained by Bournemouth when he was playing well in the SPL,
but now he doesn't even see the bench.
I wager Chandler, Ream and Johannsson never see the field for the U.S. MNT again.
They are "veterans" who are much less likely to be included than Bradley and Altidore.
