As of right now, I don't see FOX Deportes airing this game on Saturday. It will have to be on FOX Soccer Pass(Or whatever it is called) or Fanatiz.
Both finals are scheduled for 17:00 local time, and from my understanding the local time is a +5 hour difference from PST after the time change over the weekend.... so 12:00PM, unfortunately
Ah, I thought it was 16h00 local. 17h00 would be better since it doesn't conflict with Bayern x Dortmund, and so maybe better chance for Fox Deportes to show it (maybe even with 30-minute pre-match show).
Not Libertadores, but Primera related, I had no idea Tino Costa was playing for San Martin de Tucuman. I just turned on the Independiente-SM game and there he is taking corners. Funny thing is, he never played professionally in Argentina til he ended up at San Lorenzo a few years ago. After playing for clubs like Fiorentina and Valencia, ending up in Tucuman has got to be a wake up call about how far he has fallen in his career.
To be fair, his story is pretty special. He went from playing in Guadeloupe to being noticed and moving to France and ended playing for clubs like Los Che and Viola. I am sure he's made quite a bit of money and he's at the twilight of his career and playing at home, not too bad.
LOL @SupaMario surely you all could have found a goalkeeper in your Under 13 division better than Battalla? And then to bring in Marinelli... Mamitaaaa.... Not the two best goalies River ever produced to put it nicely... I have given Tigre some shit over the years, but I remember the fight Tigre supporters got with Santiago Silva when he was with Boca and it brings a smile to my face... I will miss Tigre if they go down, it is looking more and more likely that it'll happen unfortunately.
He's cost the team many points during this campaign. I don't know what happened to this kid but he will probably end up playing in Ecuador or somewhere in the near future. Going down would be a big blow for me and right now it looks imminent . I would have no real ways of watching the matches unless I find some type of sketchy stream that will probably give my computer some type of STD. And as I type this...Chino!!!
hmm... 50/50 chance of survival IMO. Tigre are only 5 points behind San Martin and have already gained 6 points on them so far this season. Also gained 5 points this season on Patronato. So they're on track to pass those 2 teams, but they will have to hope that the 2 promoted sides struggle. Of course the mickey-mouse short season that we have right now doesn't help them in their pursuit.
I have been reading so much positively from the international media about the Superclasico, first the atmosphere (which to be fair, was piss poor in La Bombonera) and the excitement of the match... but how much of a headache is this for big time tv channels abroad? I know the big UK channel BT Sport bought the rights and showed it live. First, we had the match moved from Wednesday to Saturday. Then rained out. Then no idea if it would even be played Sunday. Then it was, decided the last minute, and played an hour earlier than the Saturday match would have been. I know big channels in Spain and Italy also aired the match live. Now, we have this match moved an hour forward. And this is for the the biggest match in South American football history, by far. Scheduling a regular league match is even harder to nail down. You can look at the Premier League schedule and know exactly when a match will be played months from now and thats if its Cardiff vs. Burnley. We have River vs. Boca and they're messing with the time 4 days before. I know we are used to this in Argentina and South America as a whole, but its this sort of circus that makes our football great, but also what makes it such a bad sell to foreign networks... Its so sad we can't just pick a date and time and play the match then instead of changing it... Hell we can't even pick a calendar or a format for our local league....
Rescheduling things is how we roll, Gaucho, you know that. Wedding on the 25th, you say? Actually, it will be on the 23rd.
