Sargent keeps his spot in the Bank for the match today against Dortmund and Pulisic (also in the Bank).

What a save on Alcacer's shot! (agree with the announcer that he was off though).

So I guess I’m rooting for Delaney? Root for Bremen to score, Dortmund to respond with CP and they score two, then Bremen responds with Josh to try to come back? Can I get all that in the first half, please?

Reus probably should have gotten that penalty call on the Klaasen foul.

there is an old school element to this Bremen team.

Fouls for fouling sake. Take some of the player with every 50/50 ball.

easy as you please cross and 3 players open for the header. Incorrectly called offside, eventually given: 1-0 for the bumble bees.

Great VAR moment. Paco heads home a great Guerriero free kick. Obviously Favre had foreseen this when starting him. Incorrect offside call overruled well.

Man, Dortmund are ripping them apart on the break. This could end up 4- or 5-0. Don't know what that means for either of our guys getting off the bench.

credit to Fivvr. Burki doesn't seem to make the same boneheaded plays he has in years past.

    2-0 to the D.

Sargent might be on sooner rather than later.

Reus goal - midfield turnover, quick pass to Reus who calmly plays Sancho into space up the right, who calmly cuts back to Reus despite seven defenders in the box, who calmly finishes low to the far post. 10 seconds, they beat the whole defense without hitting a fast jog.

Nice save from Burki. Mohwald hit that volley hard.

Dortmund is going to end up making $100M on the Sancho purchase, he's fantastic.

Wow! Kruse with a stunning volley gets Bremen back into it 2-1.

I think people put too much of those 'bone-headed' plays on Burki, when he was playing behind a disjointed backline which often let him down. That made it hard for him to decide whether to come out or not in many situations which in turn made him dither more.
What we're seeing now is how he plays with some clarity of purpose.

Delaney with an intentional foul to keep a player from being on goal... Yedlin literally got a red for a similar situation in the EPL. These Bundesliga games are officiated so much better.

Watching Dortmund this first half, I wonder if Pulisic moves the ball too slowly to fit into this team. They had so many nice, flowing breaks where everyone was playing one- or two-touch passes, whereas Pulisic seems to want to take the ball and run with it himself for a bit before laying it off.

He was a flappy flappy happy meal during stogey as well. I think he was just a more nervous player before this year in general. Probably just becoming a veteran.

Lothar with the commentary at the half for Zie Germans. He was generally pleased with Dortmund breaking with 6 or 7 players and wanted that penalty for Reus.

What a stop from Burki to keep the ball out. Dortmund backline looking mentally shaky early.

Sancho misses an open net from an awkward but very makable angle.

Great break for Paco, but he takes an extra touch and makes a too-late pass to Reus. Not sure why Sancho was 30 yards behind the play -hustle fail.

Look for #11 for bremen to be the guy who goes out first. Don't know if Sargent plays his position.
