Article about Sane: https://www.skysports.com/football/...gainst-watford-shows-how-his-game-is-evolving
And speaking to Sky Sports, former Liverpool and England defender Stephen Warnock said the 22-year-old reminds him of Manchester United icon Ryan Giggs with his bursting runs down the left and ability to skip past players. “Leroy Sané is the closest thing to Ryan Giggs we’ve seen in years,” Warnock said. “His ability to glide past players makes it look effortless. “I love old-fashioned wingers, he reminds me of when Arsenal had wingers like Marc Overmars. “With Manchester City dominating possession most of the time, they can hold that width and, one against one, they’re devastating.” Some Blues may not like Sané being compared to a Manchester United player, but Warnock was complimentary of City’s rising star. https://www.mcfcwatch.com/2018/12/0...ane-reminds-me-of-a-manchester-united-legend/
Sane must earn Guardiola’s trust to fulfil Ballon d’Or potential https://www.whoscored.com/Articles/...diola’s-trust-to-fulfil-Ballon-d’Or-potential
how is that his fault that Kante came rushing and scored Hazard passed the ball through 5 Man City defenders, lol. Blame them.
Sane scores a class direct free kick goal vs Hoffenheim in CL just before HT to make it 1-1. https://streamja.com/PGdQ
Also been very impressed by nicol Schulz, his duel with sterling been awesome, and he's held his own, really cementing the left wing back birth for germany
Sane should have a hat trick, before his 2nd goal, they were 3v1 and Sane passed instead of shooting himself. The other City player shot on Baumann. Baumann has been good all game, too bad Low only cares about Leno/Trapp for 3rd GK.
Sane has been a threat all game, very close to dribbling past 3 players. Glad that France never poached him.
if you play Havertz as a 10 than all 4 can play. Would actually be interesting to see them play together. You also have Havertz's BFF Brandt on the bench. And all these guys are very young. besides Havertz for Bayer even as an AM is the player who covers the most distance for his team every game.
Brandt I'm a fan of, but the way sane and ganebry have starred for their respective massive clubs I feel Brandt has stagnated abit
come on Bayer have struggled massively all season long and he averages a goal or assists every 2 games even then. Could have had better stats too if it wasn't for the pouring rain vs FCN where he should have scored 2 in that game. sure if your looking at 1BL only his numbers don't look great but besides he does more than score/assist. Full of energy, quick, can dribble and combines well with his teammates. besides as you stated Gnabry and Sane play for massive clubs compared to Bayer who were at the bottom for most of the season. that for awhile he and Havertz were the only + thing is telling. It took until after Bellarabi's return from his 4 match ban because of a red and Volland being put into sole CF over Alario before the team started to click more and perform better. They just wasted half the season to get there, lol. He's a good sub or starter, for NT, he's better off as sub player.
U got to remember performing at bigger clubs is added pressure in itself, you either perform or drop down the never ending pecking order and bigger clubs also demand performance and success therefore players must perform or your ca gonner
but bigger clubs have better and more effective entourages. Come on Man City overall dominates EPL and even struggling Bayern is still top 3.
Yes, ultimately as a individual u have to perform there's no hiding, sane ganebry deserve the plaudits
Brandt is more than scoring/assisting (even then average goal/assist every 2 games in all competition) and I judge players also on club circumstances and surroundings. That's a factor too. if he didn't perform makes you wonder why clubs are still interested in him even in this season?
you know I never said he should start. I brought him as another young attacking player but said he's better sub for the NT.

Sane with double assists to make it 2-0 vs Everton. His 1st assist to make it 1-0. https://streamja.com/lEl4 His 2nd assist to make it 2-0. https://streamja.com/1Z9d
