I can sadly report that Laughlame is 100% still employed. He traveled with the team and was with them when the landed at 3am last night. And I swear to @chr1st, that he had one more button undone than usual. I might have given him a Savannah Been welcome home.
What a ********ing bag of garbage. I hope they have Frankie give him his marching papers and a complimentary studs-up tackle.
This needs to be two comments so I can rec both of them. One Frankie being the one to fire him. And then giving him a studs up tackle. Both ideas are worthy of a rep on their own merit.
Someone has to answer day-to-day operational questions which are asked by the new regime. Documenting procedures, that kind of stuff. McCullers stuck around for a minute after Man Baby bought the team, too.
Tony Two Chins bought the team in July of 2013 and Mark McCullers left the organization in May of 2014. If LaughLame is around this team for another ten months some of us will be pretty disgusted.
I think the major difference, though, is as far as I know McCullers wasn't actively participating in trying to relocate the team. Continuity is great in so far as telling the new guys where the pens are stored and how to use the coffee machine, but in this specific situation I think once the deal is complete there should be race to see which happens first: Loughnane resigning or Loughnane being fired, and that race shouldn't last more than one day.
“I really mean this, I’m a relationship guy,” Loughnane said. “I look forward to strengthening relationships with our supporters, our fans, our corporate partners, our political partners, all of which will ultimately lead to relevance and revenue.” - Andy Loughnane Text to Schottenstein Real Estate Group President Brian Schottenstein: “Per your email it didn’t look like (a stadium overlay) could fit on the property.” - Andy Loughnane It is often more instructive to know how NOT to do something. In this regard we have an educator of the highest caliber.
PLUS - McFatface had (has) zero clue how to run a professional sports franchise and needed McCullers. Haslam already has people who can step in. He has run a professional sports team for years (we can argue how well). the day the deal is done Andy will be gone.
Add Clark Beacom to the list of FO people who should be let go as soon as the ownership change is official. I've heard about interviews where he'd talk about how Save the Crew folks need to just get over the fact that the team is moving.
Isn't he the ass kisser who threatened the Nordecke if they continued to speak ill of his grubby little fatty ass boss?
I have heard from people who say that he has been positively derisive of the STC guys, saying that they're dumbasses who refuse to accept reality.
Not sure who he is or what he does. I do know I'm too lazy to look for myself and the answers here will be far more colorful than a LinkdIn page.
Agree with the fire immediately position. But given that I cant change it, I’ll focus on the positive that he and Greeley are draining lil Tony’s piggy bank yet are worth less than nothing.
It's been too long already, if he's still employed at 10:01am today I will grab my pitchfork and torch to head to Black & Gold Blvd.
