Tough game at the weekend. We'll go above you in the table with a win that's sure to get your manager sacked, what more incentive do we need?
You led before allowing goals in consecutive minutes to lose 2-1. Celina was subbed on in the 65th minute and scored in the 72nd minute, followed by Wayne Routledge's 73rd minute winner assisted by Celina. At halftime Swansea City subbed on Cameron Carter-Vickers, who is American.
We never quit. Jos stormed out of the post match press conference because he got tired of being asked about job security.
Carlos's first season definitely didn't suck. Played good stuff and came within a hair of promotion. How he made essentially the same squad such dull, plodding muck the next season I've never quite understood. All shite since, though, for sure.
Not sure about that. What I read was that after being asked the same daft question a dozen times at a fans forum, DC just pucker-assed and popped back something to the effect of, "or I can just sell it. is that what you want?" someone in the press has spun it as "DC wants to sell" and now everyone's speculating as to his intentions. I'm not saying he doesn't want to sell, but there seems to be a bit of ambiguity as to his 'claim'. … and I wouldn't stake a nickel on any of what I've read, either.
Jos sacked, according to some Dutch rag. https://www.limburger.nl/cnt/dmf20181221_00085470/luhukay-ontslagen-bij-sheffield-wednesday … still just rumors in English, as far as I can tell.
The Sun says Jos is gone. https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/football/8039727/sheffield-wednesday-steve-bruce-jos-luhukay/ They are also saying that Wednesday are trying to get Steve Bruce in. All of which makes sense. All the stuff about bringing in staff first, and Bruce not coming until after the holidays gels with other rumors going back a week or two. I'd guess this is how it's going to play out - though again, I wouldn't stake much on it.
That's because Chansiri doesn't know what he's doing. Not that Saudi Sheikhs or Russian Oligarchs know anything about running a football club, either; but this particular Thai tuna-seller doesn't appear to have surrounded himself with the right people. That's not a knock on Lee Bullen, by the way.
