Now that the World Cup is over, the next big qualifying process is about to begin - Euro 2020. Anybody wanna attempt to predict the 24 nations that will qualify? Remember no country qualifies automatically. And you must pick at least one team from each UEFA Nations League.
We could make it interesting and have a competition. In general, 1 point for predicting each correct qualifier. Exceptions: - Any league B teams that are in your list and qualify gives you 2 points. - Any league C teams that are in your list and qualify gives you 3 points. - Any league D teams that are in your list and qualify gives you 4 points. - Any league A teams excluded from your list that do NOT qualify gives you 3 points. So for example, if you have Romania on your list and they wind-up qualifying, you get 3 points. If you have Germany on your list and they qualify, you get 1 point. If you do not have Poland in your list and they do not qualify, you get 3 points.
One thing is for sure. France will be dangerous in the upcoming 10 years. Michael Sports Journalist https://africanbettingguide.com
Perhaps you’re right. I was thinking that the Nations League is essentially the start of qualifying and it also determines the seeding for the main qualifying draw. So will be quite a bit easier (less interesting?) to predict in December.
Gibraltar managed to avoid pot 6 for the upcoming draw. So we could have a group like: Switzerland, Austria, Finland, Georgia, Gibraltar, San Marino ... with at least 2 of them qualifying for the Euros, and up to 4 of them qualifying!
Finland (12 points), Georgia (9 with 6 against Gibraltar), Gibraltar (0), and San Marino (1), combined to get 16 points from their 36 Euro 2016 qualifiers excluding Georgia vs. Gibraltar.
Switzerland will be in group of 5 ... Honestly if we get group like this then who knows perhaps we can surprise lol(by being so bad): France - have never been to Tallinn; as reigning world champion definitely attractive opponent Germany - haven't played them since pre world war II so it'd be about time to meet them or haven't been it Gibraltar we'd have played Russia twice on Putin's birthday during world cup 2018 qualifiers ... So both Germany or Russia could bring people to the stadion. Finland - yes we just met in NL but another match which wouldn't be too unattractive. Estonia Kosovo - have never played them so as new opponent i'd like to see them ... San Marino - last time we played them away we ended their 61-game losing streak so obviously we cant make same mistake twice or can we ... So yeah hopefully draw gives us group of France-Germany/Russia-Finland-Estonia-Kosovo-San Marino and we then show how it's possible to get less then 7p in this group ...
The main qualification draw is on Sunday... Germany chances are still very high, despite being in Pot 2. I've simulated the matches including the playoffs according to the complicated Nations League rules: https://simtheworld.blogspot.com/2018/11/euro-2020-qualifying-after-nl-gs.html
draw just done some interesting draws Group A: England, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Kosovo Group B: Portugal, Ukraine, Serbia, Lithuania, Luxembourg Group C: Netherlands, Germany, Northern Ireland, Estonia, Belarus Group D: Switzerland, Denmark, Rep of Ireland, Georgia, Gibraltar Group E: Croatia, Wales, Slovakia, Hungary, Azerbaijan Group F: Spain, Sweden, Norway, Romania, Faroe Islands, Malta Group G: Poland, Austria, Israel Slovenia, Macedonia, Latvia Group H: France, Iceland, Turkey, Albania, Moldova, Andorra Group I: Belgium, Russia, Scotland, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, S Marino Group J: Italy, Bos-Herz, Finland, Greece, Armenia, Liechtenstein
My predictions: Group A: England, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Kosovo Group B: Portugal, Ukraine, Serbia, Lithuania, Luxembourg Group C: Netherlands, Germany, Northern Ireland, Estonia, Belarus Group D: Switzerland, Denmark, Rep of Ireland, Georgia, Gibraltar Group E: Croatia, Wales, Slovakia, Hungary, Azerbaijan Group F: Spain, Sweden, Norway, Romania, Faroe Islands, Malta Group G: Poland, Austria, Israel Slovenia, Macedonia, Latvia Group H: France, Iceland, Turkey, Albania, Moldova, Andorra Group I: Belgium, Russia, Scotland, Cyprus, Kazakhstan, S Marino Group J: Italy, Bos-Herz, Finland, Greece, Armenia, Liechtenstein Nations League: A: Switzerland, Iceland, Israel, Hungary => Switzerland B: Bos-Herz, Ukraine, Wales, No. Ireland => Ukraine C: Scotland, Norway, Finland, Bulgaria => Bulgaria D: Georgia, FYRM, Kosovo, Belarus => FYR Macedonia
Because in my predictions only 2 league A teams and 4 league B teams. won't qualify for the Euros through the regular qualifying process,. So for the league A playoffs are added 2 league C teams. The 2 highest ranked league C teams not already qualified and not involved in the league C playoffs are Israel and Hungary. (I think that's how it works?)
I think that victory will be won England Germany Belgium Of course, everything can go wrong as I think, but I read an interesting post about this on the https://onlineroulettewheel.co.uk/ and there is quite a lot written not only about this.
Have you guys seen Ajax's latest CL victories? The total football reborn. That also reflects upon their national team and that is why, in my opinion, Netherlands will be the next European champion. You can bet on that India's top online betting sites
Bulgaria, England, Lithuania, Serbia, Northern Ireland, Germany, Ireland, Belarus, Wales, Slovakia, Spain, Norway, Poland, Israel, France, Turkey, Belgium, Kazakhstan, Italy, Finland plus 4 pickup by third Places to glory road.
Just for fun, and also to see if I understand the qualifying process, here (I think) is how the qualifying playoff brackets would look if qualifying ended today. Home teams are listed first. Generous draws for Wales and Scotland, I'd say. Also, Denmark would play their direct neighbors. Euro 2020 qualifying playoffs (as of 11 September 2019) League D Georgia v Belarus North Macedonia v Kosovo League C Scotland v Bulgaria Norway v Serbia League B Bosnia H v Austria Denmark* v Sweden League A Netherlands [Northern Ireland^] v Israel Iceland v Wales *: I know Denmark are currently second in their group, but Switzerland is just one point behind with a game-in-hand. So I considered the Swiss to be ahead as they have the higher winning %age. ^: Similarly, the Netherlands have a game-in-hand against the worst team in their group, which if they win they will move up to second.
^ Non-group-winners will face a draw to see which path they go into. So Bulgaria won't automatically get the spare League C spot just because they've got a higher rank than Israel. Also, Sweden are currently in a qualifying spot. That puts Hungary in the playoffs, according to Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UEFA_Euro_2020_qualifying_play-offs ...I think!
Ah yes. Not sure why I thought Sweden would be in the playoffs as things stand. So the corrected pairings are (I think): League D Georgia v Belarus North Macedonia v Kosovo League C Scotland v Bulgaria/Israel/Hungary/Romania Norway v Serbia League B Bosnia H v Bulgaria/Israel/Hungary/Romania Denmark v Wales League A Netherlands v Bulgaria/Israel/Hungary/Romania Iceland v Bulgaria/Israel/Hungary/Romania
I think it's safe to assume NI rather than the Netherlands will be in the playoff. All 12 of NI's points were won against Belarus/Estonia and its final four matches are against Germany/Netherlands. It's pretty crazy that the Finland-Armenia match during the next break will likely determine second place in Group J. After the way Finland lost to Italy (horseshit handball call), I have a sickly feeling the former will now end up in the playoff.
