Good point. Neymar needs to mature further. I would have hoped that a few years in UEFA would have sufficed.

Tite better get him off the pitch for the second half. He's displicente today.

Richarlison is average too ... by historical standards. But he might be the best solution as a striker right now. Not as a winger.

By historical standards, everyone is average to be honest.

The best solution for the striker position is who’s ever in form at the moment. Richarlison even though he has impressed me is prone to inconsistency as well.

True. But at least he seems to be decent in the air.

He also combines speed, athleticism, and physical strength; Neymar lacks on this last item. The last player who really stood out in having all three in good measure while playing for Brazil in his prime was Maicon - I'll never forget that impossible angle from which he scored on North Korea in 2010.

    Firmino replaced by Gabriel Jesus.

Allan, Arthur and Casemiro might be our best midfield for balance.

Jesus is getting dispossessed easily and his touch is poor.

At least he's showing more dynamism and interest than Firmino did.

Arthur carimba the crossbar, and with his few performances in the NT, as far as I am concerned, he has carimbado his participation in this team for Copa América 2019 and for World Cup qualifying.

He needs to improve. But people in Brazil were greatly overrating him.

Striker and RB are clearly the weakest position's on the team.

While there's much work to be done, today Brazil showed, IMO, the most innovation since the World Cup. The scoreline was another meager 1-0, but we created more real scoring chances than against Uruguay and Argentina.

Gabriel Jesus missed two shots, one of them w/ the goalie nowhere near the net, and he'll have to work hard to regain political capital with Tite. Arthur and Richarlison end the year com mais moral in the NT, and as was written, I'd like to see Arthur and Casemiro together in the national team.

Allan probably got himself a position in the squad for the March friendlies.

Brazil has now played six matches since the World Cup with six straight wins and a clean sheet. 12 goals scored, but only 3 in the last 3 matches.

Arthur and Richarlison have carimbado their positions in this weak seleção....
Alex Sandro, G Jesus, and others need improvement... Why Paulinho?

22 years ago in Curitiba - the last friendly vs. Cameroon. Djalminha, Denílson, Giovanni and Oséas... Oséas! @celito

I felt we played even better when Costa game in. I don’t think we have another player that can play in that impact sub role like he can and for that reason I would not start him. Tite should stick with the WCQ system of Coutinho in a wide position maybe even test out him on the left and Neymar on the right. Leave the Coutinho to midfield as plan B.

It makes you question why Tite didn’t cut Renato Augusto for the WC when he had a chance.

I think RA was a whole lot more important to Tite's team than a lot of people realize. Tite was probably hoping RA would recover for the later stages. He came very close to pulling us back into that game vs Belgium.

I don't know what players and system Tite has in his mind right now, but the team looks like a mess at the moment. He has his work cut out for him.

Tite finishes 2018 with 13W, 1D, 1L conceding only 3 goals. But how big that 1 loss was ...
