I guess inconsistency is what can be expected from a team as young as this US team, one with still an interim coach in place. Was expecting more from them, especially against what looks mostly like an England team far from full strength. Poor, slightly better in the 2nd half, but nowhere good enough...
Belgium at least getting it done vs Iceland. No Lukaku, no problem with Batshuayi scoring a brace today.
It's a joke that the federation hasn't appointed a manager yet. Did you not see his goal against Belgium in 2014...?

Pulisic's frustration after the England loss is a good thing. www.espn.com/soccer/club/united-states/660/blog/post/3701461/christian-pulisics-anger-over-england-loss-a-good-thing-for-us-it-shows-he-cares Obviously he cares about a loss (even if it's just a friendly). But he's got to be legitimately frustrated about US Soccer and how they still don't have it together after all this time and promises of a new day. The fact that a permanent coach still hasn't been hired is a travesty: especially when they were/are some arguably perfect ones there for the taking (Osorio and Martino). I get the concept of taking time to get it right, but after a while it starts to look like procrastination or worst indecisiveness and incompetence. Time to get a move on.
USMNT is dead. I pity the fans and the players. USSF have really screwed up things the last few years and especially the last year. Zero excuses for this crap.
De Ligt showing in one sequence why he's such a highly touted CB: isolated one vs one with Mbappe, matched him stride for stride, held him off with ease and cool as you like, controlled the ball perfectly, turned and distributed the ball into midfield. Top class and excellent composure.
De Ligt and van Dijk has so so much potential. It's a shame the Dutch haven't developed a proper keeper yet.
Like Dumfries at RB. We are not pressed for one right now, but he's got strength, pace and he's attack minded and at still just 22, his progression curve is still very much in the up. He looks like he'd be a natural in the Prem.
I have to say. I like the Uefa Nations League. Initially i didnt understand it, but now it makes a lot of sense. The players are actually playing like it matters. I've enjoyed every game ive watched. Cant wait to see other confederations try it.
De Ligt is legit Enough of short-term solutions. If we blow a load on a CB would rather it is somebody who we have for the long-term. He is only 19 and won't come cheap, but he doesn't look much of a gamble at all given his obvious attributes and level.
The three team groups looked mad, but in retrospect means every game matters. The final group England v Croatia game on Sunday if there is a winner is both winner/qualification decider and relagation decider
The Dutch have just torn the French apart in the final third with these little flicks and through balls.
Would gladly pay the sum of the world for De Ligt: he absolutely looks like he'd be worth every penny. Been very impressed with him every time I've seen him as of late. And he's still just 19, which is absolutely incredible. Solid and composed: the major attributes you look for in a CB. Would gladly pay big money for any quality defenders tbh: as SAF used to say, teams are built back to front. You don't have a good defense and it's hard to have a solid team overall.
Barcelona going in for de ligt? Makes sense as pique is aging and he would form a good partnership with umtitti Shame that baily fell off, when he initially came I liked the look of him. Is it confidence or mourinho?
How Mancini is rebuilding the Italian national team. www.bbc.com/sport/football/46229233 Definitely using some unorthodox methods and it will be interesting to see if it pays off when it's all said and done.
Both but confidence is also down to Mou constant chopping and changing .. Lindelof has looked decent in recent games hopefully Bailly will come around when Mou leaves.
