    Tangential question:
How long is/was the Acura shirt deal with the Crew? When does it expire?
Also, when is Adidas’ deal with ML$ up? I thought it expired in 2018; did they up it and I missed it?

You're not wrong with the seat colors. Repainting of the seats was discussed at least one time. Maybe black seats could be a possibility with a roof, but good luck with black seats in August under no roof.

Drying faster? Folding seats would probably come in handy.

    Here's one.

If they sell a bag in the stadium and you can't bring it back the next game...fix it so you can.

Been thinking about it and I'm not certain I'm totally sold on the arena district site. Other than it being big, it has many issues - most notably ingress/egress. That brings me to my next thought. We say we'd like it to have a pub/team store and ticketing office that's easily accessible from street. In order for the pub and team store to viable to be open and staffed on non game days, the stadium would likely need to be in a high traffic area - which the arena district site is not and neither is Dodge park. I wish we had a site that was more visible & accessible. We all look for existing open space. What is hard to look at in downtown area is a bunch of vacant/rundown/obsolete properties all contiguous that could be lumped together to build a stadium on. Wish I could find that Business First article that outlined all the Parcels in Franklinton that Nationwide controls. If they could somehow butt it up against Broad street, that would be amazing. If we are going to move away from a stadium surrounded by huge parking lots and give up the tailgate scene, then I'd rather have stadium intertwined into a neighborhood like a Fenway or Wrigley.

If they build on the Nationwide and Savko parcels, that still leaves the Schottenstein parcel available for development.

I'm not sure I get the issues with ingress/egress for the Arena District. I think every main road around there has a connection to a highway (Long Street/Dublin Road, Goodale, Neil Ave, All the exits in Downtown, etc... I don't think you could find many other places with more.

Specifically people are calling out that the assumed location at the end of W. Nationwide Blvd. does not have good ingress and egress as it sits today there is only one way in and one way out, so your bottleneck is not the Arena District itself, but that specific section/street. And since it is bordered by highway and train tracks, it will take some work to add the additional paths needed.

I get that but not everyone will have to park in such a confined area like they do now. With all the other options in the area I just don't see an issue.

The stadium would basically be at end of a dead end street. One way in and same way out.

I'm fully aware of the geography of the area. I don't think the location of the actual stadium would matter. It would be more for the access to the parking structures.

Right now there are two access points to 71 directly beside the stadium and you see what that gives us.

One thing that I've long thought was wacky:

More people tend to sit near the center stripe than the corner flags. Obviously, there are exceptions, but compare 105/106 to 111/112.

With that said, the bathrooms in the areas of 104 and 128? They're way too small.

I'd imagine the ones in the lower south corners are larger due to the south plaza and the playground.

My wife always brings in a plastic bag,Cheesecake factory, folded up in her coat pocket. Once inside we put rain gear or whatever in the bag. Been doing it since they outlawed bag larger than 5x8!

Depending on what they build for new/additional parking.......I'm inclined to think the vast majority of people will not be parked any further west than Hocking St......most parked in various Arena District garages or whatever could/would come of the Savko and Schottenstein land. Even with that said though....I do think it would be sensible to extend Nationwide to Long/Dublin for traffic flow and to make that end of the Arena District relevant as a whole by having a western gateway to the district.

As far as a team store goes.....and having it be accessible and noticeable.......they could always have a main game day shop within the stadium with limited hours around games/events/etc......then have a more moderate sized shop on High St or something with full hours for walk up patrons like what FC Cincy has....heck even Louisville City has one and even NPSL team Detroit City FC has a stand alone team store.

Haven't the Jackets had spots in the malls?? May just be holiday pop-ups, though.

I was in Louisville for work last summer and I walked past their team store each day. Having a smaller location away from the stadium - which, I think they share with the Bats which could make a stadium shop a little more difficult - seemed like a pretty good idea.

They've had a location at Tuttle Crossing for years, and it's branded similarly to the store at Nationwide Arena.

I have been a season ticket holder since 1996 and have never had a problem getting from or onto 71 from Crew stadium!

I put a draw string bag up the sleeve of my coat and have my kid do they same and we pull them out when we get to our seats so we can put our blankets in them until we decide we want to use them and then it also makes it easier to carry them out of the stadium. Nobody ever says anything to us on our way out. The bags aren't crew bags.

This urban planning thing is so easy. Here it is. All traffic problems fixed. NRI gets to build some residential and so does Schottenstein. Now let's get it done!

How are we supposed to get it done when there is no glitter?
