I deleted my post since this was all discussed after, but I had not read. But since you quoted and answered before I got it off the page. Thanks. Also, I did forget to address the initial reckless foul.

I support this, and any other superstition, for these playoffs.

I vaguely recall one question involving a player striking one of his teammates. Sheesh.

Because I grew up rooting for the Reds (I was less than one and less than two in the 1975 and 1976 seasons), the Bengals, and UD basketball, I'm preconditioned to immediately think the worst: I was pretty annoyed by Sosa's caution thinking, "Great. Higuain already picked up a ridiculously stupid caution and now his likely back-up is sitting on one, too."

But then I just laughed because, well, this entire relocation saga just makes you laugh at anything.

Totally. Don’t tell anyone but, even if we lost last night, I wouldn’t be super upset. The whole “eliminate your team from existence” possibility really puts things into perspective. Sharp contrast to last year in Toronto in the freezing cold losing. And then having every drunk TFC fan remind you of the possibility of (pretty likely at the time) impending doom, in the stadium and on the train to the hotel. That was a pretty low low. Alas....

I'm going to forgive you because I understand

But with this core group of players we are likely moving into a rebuild period soon. The time is now! Our Crew that we fought for must now fight for us. Claim MASSIVE Glory now!

It’s not gonorrhea, it’s the Burn.

Just to toss this fact out: my dad is a ref who teaches other refs and assigns games.

Aladdin's in Cleveland. I've heard poor reviews of Sahara Grille. What's your opinion?

Last time I was there was about 5 years ago, so any opinion is pretty much useless.

There's probably about 6 or 7 Aladdin's just in Cleveland. They're everywhere. I think there are probably 5 in the Akron-Canton area.

My Dad likes going to the original one on Carnegie. When they first opened all they sold was pita bread. Great story in my opinion.

They're all supplied from their own purpose-built bakery (Jasmine-something). Probably makes sense for consistency's sake.

I've had no time to be on BigSoccer in the last two days, but I'm still stunned that we pulled this off.

With our complete lack of ability to score road goals, and recent form versus theirs, I thought this was going to be a disaster.

I thought it even moreso when Steffen bobbled that cross and it wound up in our net.

Even when Higuaín netted his second goal of the game in extra time, the thought going through my head was "well, I guess we're at least going to penalties."

And even then, the shootout itself had surprises. Was there anyone who thought that once Mullins, the guy DC traded away, had match point on his foot that he was going to miss? That seemed like classic sports story-writing at its best about to happen. And what happens? The wind bobbles the ball and he hits the post. And when you think that the fates have turned your back on you at that point, DC's last kicker skies it.

I should know better after all these years than to try to figure out anything about this league.
