Not the Furons but 2 years ago I decided to buy the original Visaros and boy did those split. Quite literally the upper and the soleplate split up to about half of the way. Good thing I only got them for $20 from a Marshalls.

I have never actually encountered bad service from them. I’ve ordered countless times from the American site, and twice from the UK one. In the American one I love that they offer overnight delivery for about a dollar more than USPS’s two-day priority mail.

Oh I meant the UK site. Its been rough whenever I've dealt with them. The US site is pretty good though. Never had a problem and one time managed to picked up some Pantofolas they had mispriced. Got $200 shoes for $60. Should've ordered more at the time!

I just called them and again they had no straight answer saying that the law now states that VAT will be added to any order regardless if you are in or outside of the EU. I asked them about why I don't get confirmation emails or dispatch emails, and again had no answer.
I buy from them for the selection and before for price. Now that soccer.com dose not ship KL leather shoes to California, PDS sometimes is best option.
Now with VAT added which sometimes around 25-45 dollars, depends on what you are buying, they are not as attractive as before. Other retailers in Europe don't add VAT.

What, that sounds ridiculous. I know they're halfway through Brexit but still!? lol

ah Visaros... most comfortable boots I've ever ran in. Only boot that i would really agree with the whole '90 minute box to box running' marketing. at least for the first 6 months.

Anyone heard of or have tried the Lotto Stadio 45? I can't seem to find any reviews of it. It's available at a store near me and I went to check it out and the build quality seems so good! Especially impressed with the stitches. Basically the sole separation will only occur when the leather tears. Super build quality

You should review it! Lotto has a lot of really good looking boots out and I'd love to hear what the quality is like

Today I received a pair of Furon 4.0 in the mail (I recommend if you’re ordering from WorldSoccerShop DO NOT get the cheapest shipping. It took 2 weeks) and I gotta say it’s pretty quality. Feels good on-feet too. The stringbag looks a little on the cheap side.

Upon closer inspection I saw on the right boot that the stitching on the ‘tongue’ is starting to come apart and does not look like it should have passed quality control.

Overall I’m pretty confident that I got the right size (go TTS) and for comparison’s sake I would say it feels like a Vapor 10 if the upper on those were a lot softer and more pliable. The fit is the same too, just less restrictive. I’d probably give this an 8.5/10 on first impressions. The lacing system could’ve been deeper but, hey, it looks cool and thank goodness it even has laces to begin with.

If anyone is interested you can go pick these up for dirt cheap on WorldSoccerShop. Just don’t pick the cheapest shipping option.

you gonna try them for a few more games? I'm curious to hear about it overstretching and stuff. considering how soft the upper is, and the shallow lacing system lol.

A bit similar for sure. It looks like the Nike check on the CR7 model is reflective, similar to what Adidas is going to do. But of course Lotto beat them all to Bluestacks Lucky Patcher Kodi the punch.

I've played mostly in leather boots and my experience with synthetics has ranged from just okay to really bad (bunion toe bad). The only synthetic that I have really enjoyed was Nike Kanga-lite.
Does anyone have any current synthetic boots that you would recommend for someone who prefers leather but wants to give synthetics another go?

I've played in mostly Nike Vapors, Tiempos (2 pairs) and Adidas (2 pairs).

Among the 5 pairs that I have left, I am using the Adidas Gloro 16.1 the most often. The best boot imo, with soft leather/syn. leather top. Fortunately, there was the smaller sized UK4 available for my small feet!

    This one, to be specific:

What's the best way to clean up, polish and protect my collection?

I have quite a lot of boots which I'd like to clean and prepare. I'd like them to look nice and also to be protected in their boxes, as some I've noticed seem to be cracking or the material inside starts coming away.

    1) I've been cleaning them pair-by-pair while in the shower, using regular soap and a toothbrush. This seems to work well.
    Does anyone have better idea?

    2) Drying them is simply by leaving them out in a warm room, or placing them on my clothes dryer with other clean clothes.

    3) I need tips for what do do next. I'd like to polish them, but not sure which is best for different materials. Also, different colours of leather etc.
I'd also like to make some look a little better, as the leather is slightly worn in certain areas, such as the toes, which makes them look tatty. I've seen that some people manage to hide this well and polish them up so they still look OK.

    4) Any storage tips? I have bought a large bag of those silica gel pouches, so I put them in the boxes, but many of my collection are without boxes and are kept in crates, so are more exposed to the cold in my storage facility. Any tips for keeping them good?

    Thanks in advance.

Hiya! I actually wrote a blog article about this.
    https://gaijinbootblog.wordpress.com/2019/09/24/ways-to-make-your-boots-last-longer/

    A few other tips:
Cool water is better than hot water because over time the sealing between the sole and the upper may start to wear out.
I recommend not using soap when and get some leather cleaner instead.

I wouldn't put your boots in a dryer. Stuff them full of newspaper.

You should be able to find clear leather food that can be used on any colour boots. And they do make markers to help re-colour leather as well. Though normally it's only white or black that are available.

Keeping the cold isn't that great of an idea but its better than heat. Leather is a moist material so even you don't wear the boots, you'll want to use leather food on them every month or so.

    Hope that helps!

    Hi guys,
Anyone got any idea how I can get the personalisation off these boots?
One is on the plastic, but one is on the material.

    Hi guys,
I just added a pair of Copa 19.1 to my collection from eBay.
They really look legit and the quality is outstanding. I only have one reason for worrying about their authenticity.

The art number in my boots is g64449, but I couldn’t find them using this code on Google, which is what I usually do.
I can find the boots online, but the art number on the ones online is f35519.

    Great. Thanks newone!
    I knew something was up.

Where are they meant to be made?

It’s a real shame because they are awesome looking boots.
Possibly the best copies I’ve seen.

I’ve put in a return request on eBay and will be sending them straight back.
It’s a shame that I can’t just keep them, in order to save someone else from getting tricked, as once I send them back to the seller, what’s stopping them just selling them again?
