In the 6 games since Geoff has entered the starting lineup, QPR have 4 wins, 1 draw, and 1 loss. There's lots of praise being thrown his way and the general consensus seems to be that he's solidified the midfield and is one of QPR's best players.

He's getting up there in age, but you've got to think he's in the mix for a return for the NT, especially since an experienced, competent holding mid is badly needed.

Geoff has a real culture to his movement and technique on the ball. Central midfield seems to be a good spot for him if he has some ball winners around him. I don't know if he loves getting stuck in.

Probably best for him to stay injury-free and prolong his club career.

Cameron has a physicality that our young guns sorely lack. IF he can stay healthy, his presence would take some of the onus off the new generation of midfielders.

I honestly can't think of too many reasons why he wouldn't. I'm assuming that he still has he desire to play internationally and rightly or wrongly there were accusations that flew back and forth and he is one of the players that has somewhat of a cloud over his head. A return to the national team could do a lot to vindicate him. Even discounting any PR angle, I'm sure he would rather leave on a positive note...I'm sure that it left a bitter taste in his mouth that he wouldn't mind rinsing away.

Who would you rather see manning the central midfield? Bradley or Cameron? The latter for me.

Right now? Either one works. By the time trophies are on the line? Anyone else.

Starting for QPR today vs Villa in central midfield. I'm sure there is no one doing PBP so please let us know how he looks for anyone who has a chance.

Didn't he have a similar one to Eddie Johnson against Panama few years ago?

Geoffrey shaved his trademark beard. He was initially hard to spot. Although it’s hard to spot who’s who in a crowd of bearded / tatted footballers, too. Geoff’s looked sharp
today. A good and very clean two-way game from him in the 1st half. I’d like too see him more on the ball, though. QPR need to find and feed him. Shame his England career has been spent mostly at CB and RB. I’ve always admired his midfield play.

Geoff was subbed out in the 70th minute to a nice appreciative applause from the QPR home crowd. Appeared he had a slight limp as he exited the pitch. Though his exit seemed more tactical than injury related. A solid and productive night with an assist. Not too shabby. QPR has been a solid move.

He got fouled hard a couple of times, the last one a few minutes before getting subbed. Ref has not given Villa any cards for some reason.

With 15 minutes to go, Villa is going for the tie now.

Considering two of our best established young players are at CM I strongly disagree we need a GC return.

And both of those young players, Adams and McKennie, were injured last camp.

You never know what injuries we will suffer. Cameron is at an age where he almost certainly won't play at the next World Cup, but if he stays in this kind of form, Cameron could be useful at the Gold Cup.

Cameron also has versatility, as he is able to play CB, CM, and RB. That is useful in a tournament setting.

I’m a GC fan but he’s done. I’d rather lose with the young guys so they can learn from it.

Cameron has fallen out of the 18 for today's match against Blackburn due to a "slight knock".
