I mean that +9 and Berhalter on the bottom of that list doesn't look great. But if you re-calibrated the list to show number of crosses, Gregg would be MUCH higher.

 

I haven't checked the math, but I'm pretty darn certain Berhalter hasn't won 53% of his games with Columbus...and anybody who counts a tie as half of a win needs to read the definition of "win" again.

1) Please name names of people here on BS who think GB should be here next year. Who unequivocally has said this? The way you talk, it's like it's everyone but you.

2) The outcry to let Placid was so semi-rampant last week, I actually did run the idea up the corporate forum food chain about a potential reprieve for Mr. Placid. Multiple views of differing opinions were put forth, from varying levels of mods and supermods. End of the day, us mods can only make suggestions. Suggestions were made by some, and a decision was made by others. You can guess what that decision was.

Quit acting like a damn martyr who is being crucified as the sole defender of the innocent. You're not.

 

Even if I agreed with you I would advise you to choose a different term than snowflake. But, since you have it you are playing into the accusations against you. Don’t make it so easy. Are you trying to prove Graham’s point?

So my previous thoughts leaned towards the eventuality that new ownership will keep Berhalter around as a gesture of “thanks for keeping the ship afloat.”

I really, really hope these new overlords do not keep Berhalter on. I think making a clean break and starting anew is the best for all parties. I have no clue how pro-PSV and anti-PSV Berhalter ultimately is/was, but he seems to have been Tony’s choice boy. He really must go.
