I haven't looked closely at the results, but this Google search...

    "vereinigte staaten" site:https://www.fupa.net/spieler/ "18/19"

... which has, at least for me, given not-so-useful results lately, appears to once again be pretty reliable.

Joshua Emmanuel has been making appearances in the preseason for Ipswich and has been listed as American by FM17. Can't find any links through to a possible American eligibility. Similar situation for Jordan Blaise for Cardiff.

    Some other names

Colby Kraynak was with Espanyol but I'm not sure where he is now

    Frankie Salzar

    Anyone got anything?

Is this the Frankie Salazar from Oklahoma who did some kind of Barcelona camp when he was 9 or so? I think he's maybe around 11 or 12 now and still in the States, if so.

Here's a new Google search for you fellow obsessives -- it should find, perhaps among other things, a bunch of players in Austria with U.S. citizenship.

Probably needs some refinement, since it includes female players and also former ones.

I wonder if he had spent some time in the US before then, maybe having a Green Card? He joined the Cosmos 4 years ago, so it would have been a fast process unless he had a US citizen wife. He was in Argentina in 2009 and didn't come to the US until July 2014.

He says in this video "I've been here for a long time..."

As the quoted post indicates, Transfermarkt erroneously listed him as a US citizen in 2013. Presumably the people at Transfermarkt were aware of some prior connection to the US... perhaps they assumed he was a citizen because he lived in the US for some time as a child? (I can't find info on whether he did, but that's my guess for how the error occurred.)

Hi Dave, soooo, CCD Cerceda were relegated from Segunda B to Tercera..bad enough! then they did not register, so they could not participate in any professional matches, so decided not to play in the 2018/2019 season. Now that's very bad...most of their players have left, including Claudio - I have not been able to track him down - Transfermrkt has him without club

Word in the YNT forum is that '03 FC Dallas midfielder Edwin Villarreal, who has been a regular for the US U16s, is now with Pachuca's academy. I haven't seen anything official for this yet nor on social media, but we'll have a thread for him if/when that pops up. He isn't in the latest U16 camp which may be because he's just beginning to settle in to Pachuca.

The club now says he's Liberian/Swedish. Call off the hunt! (There was a hunt!)

Soccer Talents says an American '99 named Alexander Downey is at FC Saarbrucken.

    http://www.soccer-talents.com/Alexander_Downey-3_7-375805-12.html

There is such a player, on the U19s.

    https://www.fc-saarbruecken.de/u19/mannschaft/

FuPa has a player with that name at the club, who has evidently been in Germany for some time.

    https://www.fupa.net/spieler/alexander-downey-603263.html

T'Markt does too. Neither site mentions citizenship.

    https://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/alexander-downey/profil/spieler/535425

There appears to be a player who was recently at Foothills SC with the same name.

    http://tournaments.usyouthsoccer.or...e/73592/FoothillsFire/OceanTwpUnitedSpartans/

    http://tournaments.usyouthsoccer.org/events/2018-Eastern-Presidents-Cup/Team/50813/FoothillsFire/

That player is supposed to graduate high school next year. Seems like he might be be younger than '99, but maybe not. More to the point, seems like that guy wouldn't have been in Germany for some time.

I believe he is a #6/defensive midfielder. No official word yet.

They also have David Loo at another German club. Evidently an '00. They seem to be Facebook friends, so may be related in some way.

Soccer Talents says an '02 at Sandhausen named Miles Moldsen is German-American.

    With the U17s:

Andreas Fodi (Athletiktrainer), Bernd Bechtel (Cheftrainer), Jörg Merz (Co-Trainer), Miles Moldsen, Maximilian Krüger, Christian Schmidt, Jannis Antlitz, Marvin Alexa, Daniel Seger, Elias Wekesser, Ronald Delius (Sportpsychologischer MA), Martin Ochwat (Torspieltrainer), Rafet Demiral (Funktionsteam), Joachim Stadler (NLZ-Leiter)

    This tweet referencing Momodou Jallow:

Led me to his club team, SSC Farul Constanta in the Romanian 2nd tier, which shows (on Wikipedia, so no real confirmation) 2 more Yanks:

Kwadwo Twumasi (probably the older brother of Kofi Twumasi)

Lamine Diakite (listed in Transfermarkt at "Mohamed Lamine Diakite")

Transfermarkt says all 3 are American and the club site is out of action.
