He's been at Malmo for like 5 minutes and wasn't good in 2017. Maybe let him settle in for a little bit. He's only 23.

He was inches away from an assist. Put a cross perfectly onto a teammate's head on top of the 6 yard box, but the header went just wide

He created the best chance of the game for Malmo, so naturally that means he gets subbed out in the 61st minute. Not sure why they won't ever let him go 90 minutes.

Becoming a starter for Malmo to finish the season and having some good Europa league performances would help that.

Dude is tied for 4th top scorer in the league as a winger and has a ton of assists at a relatively young age still. He won't have a shortage of clubs looking to buy him so he should definitely go if the opportunity is right at a better league.

Huge 2-0 win over Besiktas at home. Gall DNP as Malmö went defensive with substitutions to preserve the win. A lucky deflection and a PK proved the be the luck Malmö needed. I watched about 60 minutes of the match and Malmö were under siege. Luckily for them it wasn’t Besitkas’ day. There were times you could feel a Besitkas goal was coming but the defense bent but never broke. With the win, the entire Group I sits on 3 pts. with a 0 goal differential. Crazy!

I watched most of the 1st half. Pretty drab affair, TBH. Not a whole lot of action for either side. Malmö had a penalty shout and another decent effort. I think it was Gall on that effort but I didn’t have eyes on the TV. I had a hard time pinning down Gall’s exact position. He was kinda sorta was playing a wing but was pinched into the center of the pitch most of the half.

Oh......pretty sweet little stadium BK Hacken has. It’s an intimate 7-8K all seater with the fans right on top of you. Looks very modern and new. That’s exactly the type of stadium I could see some of these “wealthier” USL clubs striving for.

He doesn't seem to have much of a left but still rolled in.
Yeah, Gall for being a RW, plays very much in the middle even when the ball is wide right.

If I recall. He’s naturally left footed.

Every article I’ve seen with him states he’s a lefty. I don’t want to assume they didn’t ask him what foot he prefers but of what I’ve seen, it does look like uses his left a tad bit more even though he uses both feet extremely well.

I've seen him score better with his left in highlights. I've only watched a few full matches of his but I don't think he has a weak left foot tbh.

Romain recently did an interview for Malmo FF's podcast if you're interested.

Good insight into his career journey, his upbringing and even some of his future goals. Most of the things that was mentioned in this interview have been recorded in many articles regarding him since his rise in Sweden but it was refreshing to hear things from his perspective and in his own voice. One thing of note is when they talk about the MNT situation, he fully believes that he deserves a call up. We'll see if that's the case especially since it's reported we may have a new NT manager pretty soon here.

When I have watched him (a couple times with Malmo) he seems like the best offensive players on the field.

He’s got a bit of a rarer skill set within our pool. Kid regularly scores from outside the box, more of a pure scorer. In our pool only ones that I think that have that skill (otb shots), Acosta, Rowe and Weah.
