soundermiki, who has given a lot of time reporting on this debacle, is writing a book about said debacle. A Kickstarter is up and running but I thought a stickied thread might be a good idea so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle. Mod, if you disagree, I understand. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/socceresq/project-massive-working-title/description I think this is the correct link but I am a technological dunce.
Thread is OK, not sure about a sticky though. Just keeping bumping. I will definitely contribute, deciding what level.....
Agreed. As am I. Just waiting to see what I will be needing to contribute for the BIGSOCCER TAILGATE to put an official glorious end-cap on the Crew to Austin in 2019..(Maybe) thread.
Does the $37 level include a digital copy in addition to the physical or just physical? I like the thought of having a physical copy as a keepsake, but actually reading a digital copy is much more convenient.
Campaign going pretty well so far. I may be able to make it out for the game next week, which would probably help for research and to promote the Kickstarter since not everyone is on these boards/twitter. Already locked in a place to stay next weekend. Hoping my roommate can throw me a couple of Alaska Air vouchers which will make it financially feasible. Will keep you updated!

Well, some potentially bad news. My buddy may not have any standby vouchers for me to use (apparently his sister has been using them), so the trip out may be off. Prices are too much for a last-minute flight otherwise. We'll see...
Up to 100 contributors! Got a ways to go but making progress. Sorry I'm going to miss this weekend. Project: Massive (Working title) The inside story behind the campaign to move the Columbus Crew to Austin, Texas, and the fight to keep the team where they are. kickstarter.com
