The role is too taxing for Lee Yong, neither is he speedy or strong, but he also has poor stamina that prevents him from quickly recovering back as well, and his judgement has become more impaired, especially when it comes to when to distribute a cross or when not to.

It's time to call up Ko Yo-han again, and Kim Jin-ya should be utilized on the right flank considering our LB options are quite stacked atm.

He's still out with a knee injury he received during the Northern Ireland friendly, and he still hasn't been able to get his condition up as well as getting back on his feet. Don't expect him to return anytime soon.

He also helped create space and provide cover from to time to time. He wasn't as explosive as he was against Costa Rica, but I too thought he was exceptional vs Uruguay, plus he's in great form so he should be able to continue to help the team.

I like Kim Moonhwan but I noticed he often switched off defensively during AG. He’s young and new to the role so I have hope for him but I think Kim Jinya is the more mature defender and is only not called up by Bento since he played leftback

I agree, Kim Jin-ya has the speed, gas tank, and resilience that Lee Young-pyo and Song Jong-gug once displayed during their time with the senior team. Also, Kim Jin-ya can play in both positions, so I don't see him having problems playing on either side, and it wasn't until the AG where Kim Hak-bum switched him to the left side.

His kicking game has got even worse since he moved from Ulsan to J-League; not much better than his competitor Cho Hyun-woo.

CHW's kicking game isn't as bad as that of KSG. KSG was unable to keep his composure when he had to deliver accurate long-ball.

Technically, he's one of our best players and that's why Bento seems to like him. But he's selfish, does a lot of back passes (lacks vision), which kills our rhythm and makes stupid dribblings. Honestly I don't like his play, despite his strengths, but atm we don't have better options (LJS and KJC injured, LCY not in NT, LSW not in form, HIB better used as a joker, etc). And just based on the game, I thought he played better than SHM.

I disagree with the lack of vision, but other than that he is the only fit option we have currently. This is why I can hardly wait on the return of Kwon Chang-hoon, because he is one of the missing pieces to our midfield and team, although Dijon isn't rushing on his return as they've stated that it'll be difficult for him to return before January, but he will fit right into Bento's tactics imo.

Tbh I think KCH will take HHC's place on the right when he comes back. I think LJS will eventually claim the CAM position for himself.

Better there, than being an inside forward. At least a player is harder to predict if he's central.

Btw, I think it's funny how KFA's official instagram pointed out that Jung Woo Young looks like characters from Pat and Mat.

Wow, an unexpected win. Frankly, I'm mystified how Korea is suddenly playing better. I thought Bento was just a no-name interim manager. Did we find a diamond in the rough?

So far, so good. But we got 3 years and 8 months until the next World Cup.

I hate to break it to ya but I ruptured my Achilles tendon 9 years ago playing soccer in high school.. I am still not fully recovered and despite going through multiple physical therapy, OT, and surgery, I am still not 100%. I still experience pain and I've re-injured it multiple times. I honestly doubt KCH will ever be the same again. Even walking for a long period of time, I feel it and it hurts. To this day, I wear a special type of shoe, specifically made for me. I really hope KCH's injury to his achilles wasn't as bad as mine by a decent recovery for me took almost 2 years... Worst time of my life. College sucked too because of that.
