Banners are often confiscated. I think any AL-out themed actions will need to be planned in secret, and not on this world-famous forum.
If I see Andy on he 28th, holed up in the box at top of 127, I’ll post it here. That’s the signal to surround the door and pound on it until he resigns. Fear is a hell of a convincing influence.
I'm very curious to see where he goes from here. PSV must be satisfied with his work, and he's been visible in Austin, so it seems like he has a home with PSV. Does he stubbornly stay on board until the deal is finalized and collect his paycheck, knowing new owners will boot him but realizing he can stay with PSV? If he stays with PSV, what does he do for the next few years...does he get involved in the local Austin scene and try to sign corporate partnerships for a team with no definite start date?
I was constantly beating the drum for Precourt needs to fire Greeley and AL. I honestly thought Greeley might have been the driver in the Austin idea. And I thought AL was a failure at his job as evidenced by business metrics. I also thought AL was feeding Tony info that it's wasn't him, it was the fans, the businesses failing the team not his lack of ability. But now I hope Tony keeps both of them cuz they suck at their jobs. Collectively their involvement might ensure complete failure in Austin.
Yes. Exactly. What we have been kicking around for months. What does this transition look like if the transition is not even currently happening? Or is it right now? I have been an employee of an acquired company. Set dates. Employee of company A January 31. Then legally an employee of Company B starting February 1. And please do not tell me... business as usual.
I've never been in management. Always been a worker bee. Happy in that role. Give me defined expectations and the tools I need to achieve them and I'm your man. I have never given too much thought to managers either. I've had lots over the years. Being a fairly self motivated person who takes a bit of pride in his work, I never saw much of a point. Why does this lady get the big bucks? She has meetings, reviews my work twice a year and...? The current shambles we see from The Crew Front Office has changed my feelings entirely. This is exactly what happens over the course of a few years when there is no management, oversight or leadership. Even good people who take pride in their jobs begin to slip. Corners are cut and soon you don't have a straight line in site. Nothing is double checked, no extra mile is gone and no one is ever held accountable for an error of even fantastic proportions (like the porto john thing). LOUGHNANE OUT!!!!
I have been hearing MLS has taken operational control. Maybe that's why we have seen advertisements that don't involve past games?
Bump as this thread was about to fall off the first page. That should never happen until he's finally given his walking papers...
Someone get me some bulbs and I'll crawl my ass up there. I'm not really afraid of heights & be happy to help out.. Then I can say I actually did something other that post on BS and smack talk on Twitter.
