How soon can we get rid of Andy Loughnane, the current President of Business Operations, and Anthony Precourt-loyalist, who has purposefully drove the decline of our once great stadium through neglect and harassment of the paid patrons? Let's strike now while we've got the momentum.
At the last home game we were going thru the tent entrance. I happened to say something to the police officer there about our illustrious leader. The officer said that whenever Precourt is in town that this officer has to be Precourts body guard. The officer said it made him sick!!! Thank God Precourt never needs to come back to Columbus!!!
Throughout this entire relocation saga, Loughnane's continued employment became more annoying to me as time dragged to the point that at times I disliked him more strongly than I disliked Precourt. His continued employment, combined with the constant chirping from PSV and MLS about Columbus's poor business metrics, was like a repeated kick to the balls. If the President of Business Operations is still employed despite his work being publicly trashed by his boss and his league's commissioner, then PSV is a clown show who doesn't know how to identify an incompetent employee deserving to be terminated. If the President of Business Operations is still employed despite his work being publicly trashed by his boss and his league's commissioner, then PSV is overly loyal which, some might recall, was an issue many of us old-timers had toward the end of HSG's ownership. I mean, investorship-operatorship. If the President of Business Operations is still employed despite his work being publicly trashed by his boss and his league's commissioner, then PSV is happy with that performance as it feeds into the narrative they need to justify their move (rather than simply having the balls to say, "Hey, I want to move."). All those scenarios are aggravating. Loughnane is a clown who, if he had any decency left, would resign effective immediately. But, he's likely a clown with no decency as he obviously sold his soul, so he'll just stroll into the Crew team offices on Monday, two shirt buttons unbuttoned, as if nothing's amiss. Dick.
I wonder if he will be in attendance on the 28th. I would pay for a FF versus Andy L throw down. Probably in the form of FF’s get of a jail fine.
Sometime late October 2017 I said to my lovely wife, "Look, I'm just putting this out there now. If I ever see Anthony Precourt in the wild, there's a distinct possibility you're going to be my 'one phone call' so we should probably read up on how bail works." I might have to add Loughnane to that list.
Yes, James, it does. I liked the Fire Andy post. You liked a post of mine explaining reasons of why to dismiss Berhalter, and even called it excellent. But hold onto old grudges if you want, man. The Crew is saved. I’m good. I hope you are soon too.
You should have come back earlier, @CrewSchmack. When I reappeared I was lavished with tongue baths. Too many people realized that was ridiculous, though, so now you're just getting cordial welcomes.
I wanted to see how long I could go on before someone said stop. Let me just say, it was pages after I had guessed.
Andy Loughnane has absolutely no shame, as evidenced by his performance at past supporters summits, and yet I think we should try to exert some pressure on the man to consider that it is in his best interest right now to resign.
Thank you for bringing this back to the subject at hand instead of odd personal obsessions and tongue baths (not that their is anything wrong with that!!!) Any chance to get a Loughlane Out banner or two stick in on the 28th? Anyone with a direct line to Arace to make it a point of his next column?
