Nice words from Caracol, Colombia's largest network, about our offensive streak in the second half. Especially Bobby's goal. Some charitable respect, I guess.

And Ireland and Australia call it soccer too, because of their own sports, Gaelic and Aussie Rules.

Why on Earth would CP ever step foot on the pitch for an organization that is trying in absentia to get him injured on the pitch ? I am extremely happy he has a bad case of the Robbens every break. There is no national team anymore, there is a weak, pasteurized, unhealthy, canned, fattening and marketed mediocre light beer being rolled out into the grass .I can't stand to listen to myself or anyone complain anymore. Whether it's Beerholder or Peter Vermin or whomever until corporate and association interests are formally dissolved and MLS piggy backing and profiteering from the US national team ends the process will be.compromised.

It's just as Klinsi had said.

We give kids oranges and ice cream during halftime.

And we hand out trophies at end of league season, even though they won nothing.

Very disappointed with the lack of development and talent with our youth. I have been a fan since the early 90's. Our lack of progress is very disappointing. We still can't trap, dribble, or pass in tight spaces. No creative players. Pulisic will not help very much. He is a solid player not a vision guy or distributor. Brooks is about the same player he was when he was beaten by Jamaica in Gold cup. I actually like Miazga more and he's nothing to wrote home about. Nothing special in this team. Nothing to see here. Keep moving folks. In the famous words of Donald J Trump: SAD.

Yes. It's commonly used everywhere in the Anglophonic world where there's another code of football that is as or more important than soccer: in other words, the entire Anglophonic world except England, Scotland, and Wales. And they invented the term...

I don't think so. Green only has quickness he doesn't have the flat-out of Fafa. Fafa plays in the wings and Green is better inside. They both are the same size physically. That is about it.

Having Bradley on the field.....we might as well play with 10 guys.

At least we don't have to worry about covering his mistakes and the tons of space he left behind for the opponents.

That was a "preserve the score" move.

But did MB90 play 90 minutes? Hope so.

But he wasn't the worst player on the field!? That's been the excuse for 5 years. Easy to be invisible (ie. Not awful) when zero is expected of you except some square balls and back passes.

Tho I didn't watch so I have no idea. But zero mention of him on anything going forward. Zero mention of him on all the goals allowed. Par for the course. Zero responsibility zero blame.

Sure. All on him. Never mind the horror defending from both fullbacks. Did you see a lot of defensive cover from the wings? Did you see an attack that was able to connect passes and hold on to the ball?

I’m not even defending Bradley. He was okay. That’s it. I want to see Adams and McKinnie our there, pretty much like everyone else. But blaming this on Bradley is at best confirmation bias.

That is far from about it. They are both players who want to cut in come the final 3rd, have pretty accurate shots, but tunnel vision so can't pass, and they're not instinctual when to rotate defensively and "get stuck in" because they were bred as attackers. They are both ideally strikers against anyone with a pulse. Minnows they can punk in spite of predictability.

Again, I didn't watch, but how was he ok? I've seen this "it wasn't his fault" for years bc he has no responsibility. Seems like zero influence on the goals and the team let up 3 or 4? What exactly is his purpose?

I’m just saying... I remember 2002 like it was yesterday. Everyone knew US was a newcomer but had hope that the US would eventually be a juggernaut at the main stage. Who would have though that soccer in America peaked in 2002?

Today I understood why the Newcastle fans hate on Yedlin so much. He can help in attack but oh boy, is he a positional liability in defense! If he's the best RB the Mags have, no wonder they're a strong candidate to go down.

US Soccer is going to put the sport in this country back into the pre-1990s days.

    Totally pathetic.

Portugal scored 1 goal, Bosnia 0, Paraguay 0, Bolivia 0, Ireland 2, FRANCE! IN FRANCE 1, Brazil 2 (with only 6 shots in the game and a charity PK included), Mexico 0,.....

8 games, 6 goals allowed WITHOUT Bradley vs SUPERIOR COmpetiton in a lot of those games.

Now, with Bradley.....4 goals to colombia...and they couldve EASILY had 4 more.....

Colombia was shaky playing the ball out of the back....the USMNT shouldve been pressing high up the field all game....

But Bradley was playing on the backline in the second half and most of the game....

It's the only way he can play....He cannot high-press...he is a traffic cone...his ONLY chance to do any defending is to hang out in the 18 and hope the congestion helps him out.

The team needs energy athletic younger midfielders who can press and win the ball and not get waltzed around.....

Marky is not a fast guy to help Bradley's shortcoming. Bad sub.

But he played well. Goals weren't his fault. Bad defense. He scored from midfield against Mexico. He's a defensive mid he's not responsible for scoring goals. He did a good job cycling the ball, and facilitating play from the D to offense.

    This sounds familiar.

When will someone step up to compliment Bradley, even tho 20 guys have been tried and all failed?

    This sounds familiar.
