there are some indication that he extended his Bayern contract for 2 years until 2021. Basically until the last possible season in U19 for an 02. As his contract seems to expire in 2019.

scored a PK and an assist over the weekend in a 3-0 win.

currently at 4 goals and 5 assists in 7 games this season.

has only come up empty in 1 game out of 7, which was vs Stuttgart U17.

a 02 player means U17 and that hasn't been released yet for the Nov games.

any potential cap tie is Winter 2019. He's even captained some games of his age group.

scored a PK in a 3-2 win vs Ingolstadt U17. As captain he seems to be 1st choice for PKs. Win means Bayern are in still in 1st place and 5 pts ahead after 12/26 matches (almost halfway through)

back when Timothy was playing in U17 his U17 teammates were overall 99s like him with few 00s. While Malik's teammate are majority of them 03s who are playing up a year. Just today 7/11 starting players were 03s (not the 1st time either), captaining a bunch of 15 year olds who currently lead the U17 Sud/Sudwest table.

scores another 2 goals in a 5-0 win and reaches 9 goals for the season. Played yet again as CF. He can play CM/AM/SS/CF, what helps for CF is that he has a good height and has the physique for it. Although I don't think he should become one, but playing there should round up his attacking prowess.

Believe it's the return of the injured 03-Denk (midfielder) as the reason why Tillman was moved up to CF. They've conceded 0 goals ever since Denk went into the XI, which is the last 3 games and it's the same 3 games Tillman was used as CF.

it's interesting that M.Tillman seems to be close to surpassing his bro.
T.Tillman's last U17 season while playing with mostly his own age group the 99, had
9 goals and 15 assists in 23 games. Averaging 1 goal/assist per game.

M.Tillman's last U17 season while playing mostly were kids who are a year younger as in 03s.
9 goals and 7 assists in 12 games. Averaging 1.33 goals/assists per game.

going to miss seeing him with the younger 03 age group but it's time for him to make the jump. Seems like the jump is more because 2 U19 players jumped to Bayern II.

that means that Tillman is eligible for U19 for the next 2 and a half seasons although more likely if he performs that he could jump to II faster (not counting loan or if he gets a chance in 1st team) and no need to stay in U19 that long.

made his Bayern U19 debut playing 79 min in a 1-1 draw vs Ingolstadt. Looks to have been back in midfield and less of an attacking role than in his U17 time. Which is what I thought would happen since U19 do have a 3 strikers while U17 only had 2 but one of them was being played at LW as that was an important spot to fill.

This needs some context. It was posted in responding to questions that we are in the point in time where duals become provisionally cap tied in the u17 cycle (if not already). The fact that he's been promoted to the Bayern u19s and started almost immediately seems a good bet for Germany's roster in March for the Euro elite round u17 qualifiers.

I seriously had no idea that you had a BS account.

Yeah, I took this as a “for the time being” type of comment. If he makes his switch to us, it will probably be at least a few years from now

a few years? If he's capped tied to Germany next month, he'll be youth NT eligible until 2025, that's 7 years from now.......

when you count years it's always the math (2025-2019) +1.
    2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025

that's 7 years, don't think almost a decade away is a small number.

Friede and Malik's brother Timothy are your German-Americans provisionally capped by Germany that could jump soon enough as they would be done with youth NT in 2021. Whether between now and then, they would even be worth calling up or not is another question.

This is kind of a pointless conversation to have. It’s 6 years and 4 months to the Gold Cup in 2025. I guess if you’re young, that’s a long time. But all this means is he won’t play youth tournaments for us. He still has all of his prime to play for our senior team (if he’s good enough and chooses us).
