    Didn't he win a title with the club? I could have sworn recall a time where he was among the best in Mexico. But maybe that was for half a season or so and he was HYPED from that.

    We get too hyped about one good season. He was the Brek Shea of our Mexican contingent.

    I still like the idea that there is a Mexican player name William Yarborough. I also like that there was a Japanese player named Robert Cullen from about 10 years ago. Am I racist?

    Globalization my good fellow. This world is becoming a tad more diverse everyday.

    I recall a Japanese player with a Dutch name in the 2014 WC.

    How did I miss that? I would have crapped my pants in sheer joy as I'm of the Dutch heritage. Absence of the Oranje (and Italia) last go round put a damper on my WC enjoyment.

    I don't think he left a lasting legacy for the NT. But he def added something due to his height and physicality. Maybe the tallest striker they ever had.
