Can we sub Acosta out please. Seeing him chasing and doing next to nothing is getting old.

like, what has happened? this is a US vs Mexico game........why do the players look like they care less than I do (and I dont care an awful lot right now). Even a friendly, Mexico and the US should be at each others throats. One of the best rivalries in the world has been completely neutered.....

I know its a friendly, but Mexico fans should not be happy about what theyve seen either. a total snoozefest from both teams.

Adams just doesn't have the tactics/Game IQ but he will thrive as a destroyer. He really needs to go to Europe moreso than even Acosta needed to. He really needs to be taught to properly position and just own the center of the field.

Remember each of these players and coaches are supposed to be the BEST professionals the US has to offer. The absolute best.

Funny bit: Eric only played one game as a LB this season, against Rotherham. It was also the one game where he was MOTM.

I get that it’s a friendly an all, but there’s literally no motivation to play.

As much as I disliked the Zardes start (and callup in general) he's been solid, one of the few looking to combine and play quick.

I'll be damned. In a friendly? Did Sarachan coach that match too?

Acosta hasn't been good this game but he's not a right midfielder.

One thing Sarachan did get right was to use Green as an underneath forward/central player instead of wide. He has been better there.

Acosta & Lichaj got played out of position.

There is no one up top. 4 defenders around Zardes and no one else to pass to.

He can play LB, but he only plays about 30% of his games there. What I mean is that he was not playing out of position this game. He's just not very good, but looks passable in a rather poor league.
