It was a bs report from Korean media. I was right about the age restrictions: only players born after 1.1.1997 are allowed, minus wild cards. That means from this year's U23, only KJM, LSM, KJY and CYM are allowed. LSW too but he won't get released. Maybe those 4 minus LSM (unless he can gain pt and become a better player), can get into the squad despite already being exempted.
HHC interview. He had to go through 3 doping tests b/c the other teams kept picking him post-match for testing.
It would be funny if that were the case, but he states that it was through 제비뽑기 (random drawing, lots), hence why he considers himself unlucky.
I would be testing Kim Min Jae if I was the opposition. The dude is 6'3, build like a tank, and fast for a guy his size.
Hwang had ridiculous stamina at AG. He was still going strong when everyone else was running on fumes

He's good, but at the moment there are a few ahead of him in terms of potential. Not sure how important he'll be for us in a packed midfield in the near future.
Completely different players guys... I've seen Lee in person btw. Not even the same positions. HIB can play AMF too but he shines as CM imho. such as?
HIB plays AMF. But if he plays CM we have Kim Jungmin, the most promising CM right now. Then there's also Paik Seungho and Han Chanhee.
As others have mentioned, Kim Jung Min at Salzburg (18yo that started against Japan in the AG final) is the natural heir to Ki Sung Yueng (similar/same playing style), whereas Paik Seung Ho (La Masia product) is one we're very excited for. Han Chan Hee is another promising domestic player who should've gone to the AG rather than scrubs like Lee Seung Mo. I would put all three ahead of HIB in a deeper CM playmaking role in the future unless something drastic happens. Not to mention, Cho Yu Min can partner whoever takes the creative role as well. In the CAM position, we already have the likes of Lee Kang In, Lee Seung Woo, Kwon Chang Hoon, Lee Jae Sung, Nam Tae Hee, & even Cho Young Wook. Most can be pushed out to the wings, but we also have players such as Son Heung Min, Hwang Hee Chan and Jeong Woo Young (Bayern) who will fill those spots. HIB is also an exciting prospect, but he's going to have to fight for a place on the bench, let alone the starting XI. I hope he turns out to be an amazing player. There were Benfica rumors recently. I don't know how accurate they were, but with a Portugese NT manager, who knows.
In the national team actually, club-wise most of his career he's played as midfielder. But again as I said it's more a personal opinion. I thought Paik Seungho was a winger, but is he really better? I guess we'll see. And why this Han wasn't here to get the gold medal? I've seen KJM and I disagree, I remember watching HIB even in his first season and he was incredible. Guess it's going to be interesting to check back in the next years.
I think HIB is a wasted potential because he was stuck in K-league 2 for too long. Paik Seungho is a player that I'm lossing hope in at this point. Kim Jungmin seems like the most promising. Han Chanhee wasn't selected because our manager is a dumbass.
I agree, KJM was quite underwhelming in the AG, especially compared to HIB. But he's a like for like replacement to KSY who is very important to our play. If that weren't the case, I'd put HIB above him as well. And don't ask questions like the bolded one because they hurt LOL...
