I watched his highlights of yesterday's game and his touch and passing is actually pretty subpar. I think he is a pretty one dimensional player.

I don’t think Lucas is better than Douglas Costa or Willian to be honest but I don’t have a problem with him throwing his name in the Malcom, Neres, Vinicius, Rodygo, Richarlison, Felipe A., Paulinho (Bayer L) battle royale.

Renato Agusto asked to not be included in the squad for personal reasons a few days after his club asked for him to not be included because of some important games and CBF denied them.

Fagner out, RA out... Pedro out.... no replacement for RA!
Eder Militão no lugar do Fagner, Richarlison for Pedro...
    Updated list:
    • Goleiros: Alisson (Liverpool), Hugo (Flamengo), Neto (Valencia).
    • Defensores: Alex Sandro (Juventus), Dedé (Cruzeiro), Fabinho (Liverpool), Éder Militão (Porto), Felipe (Porto), Filipe Luís (Atlético de Madrid), Marquinhos (PSG), Thiago Silva (PSG).
    • Meio-campistas: Andreas Pereira (Manchester United), Arthur (Barcelona), Casemiro (Real Madrid), Fred (Manchester United), Lucas Paquetá (Flamengo), Philippe Coutinho (Barcelona).
    • Atacantes: Douglas Costa (Juventus), Everton (Grêmio), Roberto Firmino (Liverpool), Richarlison (Everton), Neymar (PSG), Willian (Chelsea).
Sep 7 and 11 - waste of time... oh well...

Except - I think the USA will play good, with new young players, especially Weah!

Two Useless friendlies coming up. I see no purpose at all playing against such low level seleções.
Yes Pedro got hurt last week. Too bad, he is a new revelation and a modern type forward that scored profusely while roaming the field.

I don't see why people are complaining about these friendlies now. It has always been like this. El Salvador probably sucks, but games against the US were never just walkovers even though we always beat them.

Now, if people are pissed because of the whole Copa do Brasil thing, that I get. That's from the club fan perspective.

Highly doubt Tite will do this but I'd love to see some of these younger guys be given starts against these teams as a tryout. Whats the point of playing our a-team when its a friendly. And quite frankly I'm sick of us watching whoop smaller teams and then crash out at tournaments.

Brazil got offered a boat load of money to play in the US. UEFA is doing their Nations League now so it makes it more difficult for teams to play friendlies with the European teams (Peru is playing one this round, but still).

I'm personally fine with the 2 friendlies.

I'm glad that Fox Sports 1 is carrying the Brazil-US game cause Comcast Xfinity has removed Bein Sports from it's package!! And I think the same thing happened to Direct TV!!:(

If Sandro has to play on the right, why was he not in the WC roster instead of the unsteady Fagner? The latter's performance (along with Fernandinho's) against Belgium in the WC still gives me nightmares (his was expected though but not Fernandinho's).

I personally think having the captain armband is overrated since you don’t need it to actually lead but I find it strange that Tite chose Neymar.

Yep. Apparently more rotations. There were many rumors that Neymar Sr. broke some protocols in the WC.

    It's called enablement.

I'm fine with Neymar as captain.
I'm sure that Tite had a talk with Neymar, and with all the worldwide repercussions Neymar went through after the WC, he is smart enough not to persist on these so called antics.
I know nothing about the USMNT especially since my son is no longer involved in US soccer, so I have no idea of what to expect. I do hear quite a bit about this kid Pulcio I believe his name is, but he is a ghost in international futebol.

Hora de afogar as magoas da Copa contra os Americanos de novo.

Douglas Costa just burned that defender. Perfect cross and Firmino just has to put it in the back of the net.
