Talented player but this happens every season for Goretzka. So not necessarily something new. Realistically he needs to evaluate his situation before getting too ahead of himself. It'll be a shame if he leaves in the summer. LeGo should be grateful that Schalke have stuck with through all the injuries and helped him develop. Doubt he would have the same level of patience provided to him elsewhere abroad. Signing an extension and then moving in a season or 2 is the least he can do to pay back his club.
very hard to tell where Goretzka will play next season as reports keep saying "he's going to Barca" then it went "he's going to Liverpool". Now it's all its a done deal he's going to Bayern....
Leon needs to go to Bavaria or Manchester so Nagelsmann or Pep can teach how what possession is...although I won't gripe if he just makes the transition to forward now instead of spending years in the midfield like Stindl did.
LeGo to Bayern in the summer is official http://www.kicker.de/news/fussball/...oretzka-wechselt-im-sommer-zum-fc-bayern.html
so to Bayern for 4 years. Still has time for an eventual move abroad! Jupp Heynckes on Leon Goretzka: "For the Bundesliga, it's important that a player like him stays here in Germany" pic.twitter.com/lZKPFRurhQ— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) January 19, 2018 although I can't believe Schalke let him go for free....
Christian Heidel does not exclude that Goretzka could move to Bayern in January: "If Karl-Heinz Rummenigge called, I would talk to him. We have to see what's best for Schalke" Schalke are worried that fans reaction towards Goretzka could harm their season [kicker] pic.twitter.com/dh0eEg9qUL— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) January 19, 2018
3 - The last 3 players who left Schalke and signed at @FCBayernEN all played a Champions League final for Bayern: @Manuel_Neuer 2012 & 2013, Hamit Altintop 2010 and Thomas Linke 1999 & 2001. Promise. @FCBayernUS pic.twitter.com/H82YzIpPgH— OptaFranz (@OptaFranz) January 19, 2018
Gotetzka's arrival means that Arturo Vidal can leave in the summer. Chelsea has been mentioned to be interested. http://www.sportbuzzer.de/artikel/wegen-goretzka-arturo-vidal-vor-wechsel-beim-fc-bayern/
why the crowd's booing him lol? i know they are dissapointed about him leaving Schalke for Bayern but this is just pathetic
Because they experience it as a personal refusal. Which is of course nonsense but alot of ultras suffer from low self confidence. They can't stand loses or leaving stars because it feels like a personal defeat to them. From my point of view, this behaviour is very close to be a mental issue for these guys. They really need their perspective corrected by someone professional.

Good news for Leon #Goretzka - our no.18 only suffered a sprain last night and will do some light training in the fitness centre today 👍 pic.twitter.com/jcVYzlFMIB— FC Bayern Munich (@FCBayernEN) August 29, 2018
1st Bayern start of the season and 1st goal of the season, https://streamja.com/0Zyg lol look at all the players surrounding him. 1 goal and 1 assist in 4 games this season.
Niko Kovač: "I'm very happy with Leon. He did a good job in preseason. He played less minutes than others all the time. But for today we had the feeling that he is the right player to start with his ability to create space, his aggressiveness and his pace. He can help us a lot" pic.twitter.com/7xl7tUHV1a— Bayern & Germany (@iMiaSanMia) September 2, 2018
