cfs take years to mold. even when a previously unknown cf emerge out of nowhere they are more often in their mid-late 20s than late 10s-early 20s
Looks like Lee Yoon-gyu is back with the senior team as Bento's head translator, but he speaks Portuguese as well, or can Bento speak Spanish? EDIT: Apparently, Lee Yoon-gyu can speak four different languages aside from Korean: English, Spanish, Portuguese(Brazilian), German. We're very lucky to have this guy in our team.
Damn this guy's passion for football must be huuuge that he's sticking with them for several years despite the (assumingly) small payment and stressful job life.
Yeah, he could have probably worked any where if he wanted if his language skills are as good as they say.
Paulo Bento on selecting Jang Hyun-soo as a midfielder: “My staff and I recognized that he can make a positive impact on the team with his technical ability. It’s not a decision we made based on just one game against Germany at the World Cup.”— Steve Han • 한만성 (@realstevescores) September 3, 2018
Guess our friendlies for October and November have been confirmed. 10/12 vs Uruguay (TBD, Korea) 10/15 vs Panama (TBD, Korea) 11/17 vs Australia (Brisbane, Australia) 11/20 vs Uzbekistan (Brisbane, Australia)
He did have a good job that he eventually turned down in order to help our national team prepare for the 2018 FIFA World Cup.
Yeah both Uruguay and Australia. Uruguay date changed from 10/16 to 10/12. Panama and Uzbekistan were the new matches confirmed.
The date hasn't changed as far as the friendly vs Uruguay is concerned, whilst Japan plays them on the 16th. I also posted the date down prior to being official.
