I'm not sure, but making Marca is pretty significant for a kid his age, even the Argentine edition..

I feel like such a rookie, I was trying to run into an English translation for a few days and @BostonRed had it here of course.

I like this kid. The anticipation is always better if you can’t see any highlights right away.

If he breaks through, I am sure Argentina will get him and he might just not refuse a call up from them. After all, he grew up there. But I'll be hoping they don't call him up.

Another thing it says is that his grandparent is Croatian. He can easily move to Europe once he starts getting serious minutes in Argentina.

Tab Ramos should be calling him up for the U20 qualifiers. (hopefully Argentinos Jr loans him if Tab asks for him)

He's with the Argentine U-20s now. Not really too surprising considering he's lived his whole life in Argentina:

Always think it’s a good sign when duals are playing internationally. They have to be good enough in the first place.

As a reminder, as an '01 unless he plays up he's years from being cap-tied to us or Argentina. It makes sense that he might test the waters and see how things go between now and, theoretically, qualifying for the 2021 FIFA U20s.

If he's going to go with the country that first calls him up to the senior national team, I don't see how that won't be us. Despite Argentina's dismal World Cup, they are perpetually stacked at all attacking positions. There's no way he'll be good enough for them before he's good enough for us.

Of course, there's nothing that says he'll ever been good enough for either team. But as long as our coaches and scouts keep up with his progress we shouldn't have to worry too much.

This is a BFD. Bizarre to see him bouncing between Sexta and Reserves but great, nonetheless. As mediocre as the first team is right now, I don't think a senior debut is out of the question.

Ezequiel Carboni took over as the team's new coach. In his presentation he said that some young boys would go to the first team. In Argentinos jrs for example Gaston Veron ('01) is a forward who already has a few minutes as a starter. The problem is that in the position of Miljevic the team already has several players although most likely we see Matko at the end of the tournament.

Seems to have gotten all three assists - two from corners, one from a long run and individual effort to lay off to a team mate - in a 3 - 0 defeat of Godoy Cruz over the weekend. This was for the Sexta Division team.

So these teams announce a 20-man roster, from which 18 are selected for the matchday roster, from which 11 starters are selected? Is that normal? It seems like announcing the 18 and the 11 would be sufficient.
