Fossey is a RB, but his footballing ability & skills enable him to be competent in the LB role if needed. He played very well last night and had some good reports, including the following article entitled : "Fossey catches the eye" http://hammyend.com/index.php/2018/08/fossey-catches-the-eye/
Marlon Fossey scouting report: How Fulham's latest wonderkid got on against Sampdoria https://www.football.london/fulham-fc/marlon-fossey-scouting-report-how-14981569
Really positive words for the young man! Looking forward to keeping track of his progress this season.
I'd like to see Uncle Fossey and Uncle Bradley fight in a BigSoccer Cage-Match with Poster @miklagard refereeing.
Perfect. Once Uncle Fossey gives @miklagard a Stone-Cold Stunner, we will be in need of a second referee.
I, for one, am looking forward to the Great Marlon Fossey/DeAndre Yedlin American Fullback Hair-off! It will be an epic confrontation. The wily veteran versus the spry up-and-comer to see whose curls entrance us the most.
He was a damned exciting player for the juniors and it is great to see that his game appears to be translating well at the highest level. edit: From the scouting report that Trevor posted above: One moment that stood out for me in the first half was about 10 minutes in when Fossey trapped the ball after it landed from a high clearance, beating two men with his touch before scything into the middle of the park, cutting Sampdoria to shreds. He was a constant outlet down the right too and looked to be everything that Jokanovic looks for in his full backs - attack minded but able to get back and defend. Fossey also demonstrated he was able to beat a man when required, while he was able to play intricate pieces of football with the likes of Luca de la Torre and Andre Schurrle when they came over to his side of the pitch.
I like the sound of it, but one thing to consider- he will be 20 in one month and has never made a professional first team appearance. If he's not made a few appearances by January, he needs to be looking for a loan out ASAP. No shame in not being able to break into a Premier League team that will be scrapping every game, so hopefully he is open to taking the Antonee Robinson route and less the Hyndman route.

I know hes's a right back but I wonder if Bolton wouldn't be a bad landing place for him. They need quality and a year on the left at a tough level could be really good for his career going forward.
He was great with the U17's before being injured. I see right back as a real strength with him, Yedlin and Cannon fighting for spots. It;s too bad EPL is even harder for youths to get time than MLS. So much money that coaches won't play a young kid even when their eyes are telling them to.

Perhaps an indication he will be with the first team tomorrow?
