I went to Univision's corporate page and it has to be misleading because it says approximately 145 CL games and 200 EL games across Univision, Unimas, Galavision, UDN. But with only four channels, they can't show all the games live. Overflow would have to go onto the digital product. Still should be good if they have all channels available for each match window.

I guess they could say that they never promised all the games live. Just that they will be available on the 4 channels. More than likely a tape delay sorta thing.

And I will say that may be to Turner's advantage because they can say that they will have all matches available live.

But is it really an advantage when it will probably be second tier teams no one cares as much about? And when most people are at work anyway?
    We shall see.

I'll be interested to see what Univision streams live on the first group stage matchday. If they offer matches (authentication, no additional cost) I will stream there over paying for Turner. Like I did with ESPN Deportes vs Fox Soccer +

    I agree.
The only down side to Univision is something I have been stressing over many months now. Currently you would have to stream the match live and not be able to see it onDemand (like on WatchESPN the last few years ) unless they change things up soon.

Yeah I'm really only concerned with what I can pop on live while I'm at the office. Once I leave I usually just turn on audio coverage (BBC or Talksport). If I miss anything I'll watch a highlights show online or on TV later.

With regard to the group stage, I believe the schedule for the champions league this year will allow "double-headers" with two games at 19:00 CET and six games at 21:00 CET. So there will be two overflow games. I'm sure Univision will show them live on their digital product. In this sense, B/R live wouldn't be any improvement, unless you're a cord cutter without any other access to Univision channels. (Or more obviously, unless you insist on watching with English commentary.) The state of the B/R website/app (and lack of tablet/connected TV apps) continues to shock me. It's like they built it without ever seeing another streaming site/app.

EDIT: it's right on the univision web site:
    • Stay Connected—All games to be livestreamed on Univision Deportes’ App and univisiondeportes.com

Sorry if clearly stated here/elsewhere but will B/R Live be over-the-top (cord cutters can subscribe and get all TV + streaming only matches)?

Edit: sorry, I found the answer myself :)

Interesting Serie A stuff after doing some regular tv research on the google machine.

Livessoccertv has beINsports connect as having the rights to Serie A.
    http://www.livesoccertv.com/competitions/italy/serie-a/
Now are they just speculating based off last season or do they know something we don't know???

I have seen bein sports promoting their connect programing lately with a cartoonish picture of Cristiano Ronaldo so maybe they are on to something.
Just difficult to read these tea leaves with no official news coming from anyone.

Looks like DAZN will be showing “some” J-League. So I guess it’s not outside the realm of possibility that they will pick up other leagues including Serie A.

I was looking for the Community Shield on Sirius, couldn't find it. Found U20 Women's WC though....

Doesn't look like the Man Utd preseason game against Bayern Munich is televised either. Is it just that the games are moved and I haven't caught up or that games have moved to streaming or that coverage really is going to be less this year?

Don’t stress out too much. Can’t even get two cups of coffee per month for that price.

I've updated with everything confirmed so far, I didn't add DAZN because it's still a month away from launch.

I am into EPL, European Cups (UCL + UEL) and national team competitions (World + Euro). Hence NBC Sports Gold, B/R and ESPN+. Pricey but great access to many games I wouldn't be able to see otherwise.

I have Gold and ESPN+. B/R seems completely useless with regard to champions league seeing that all the games are on the Univision networks. We'll have to see what Univision's plan is for Europa League before I make a final decision on B/R.

Tbh I am not sure if I even have Univision on my cable, and if I do, whether I can watch Univision online. Plus, Europa League is important to me as well. Right now, Dinamo Minsk is playing Zenit St Petersburg, and Minsk is my native city, so...

Does Univision have a streaming service that shows full matches?
