Who cares about Chile; I am concerned about the long run when we get seeded for the Copa America draw next year.

Conmebol is going to Conmebol. While they are supposed to 'seed' based on rankings they will do it based on traditional champ teams (Arg + Bra) not being seeded together. After that they could care less. Even if Argentina falls again on rankings, they will always be a seeded team in Copa America. That 3rd seeded bracket one can make an argument that it should be given to hosts or in this case previous Copa champ but wouldnt be surprised if it's Qatar $$$$$.

I think the seeds Should be Brazil, Uruguay and Chile quite frankly.

On merit, I wouldnt thing it's obscene but reality of having Brazil and Arg in the same group in 1st round stages, with the possibility of one being knocked out earlier than predicted would not make for good business.

    Yes.
It would not surprise me if CONMEBOL rigged it somehow with some arbitrary seeding to separate Argentina and Brazil.

I just think it should be Brazil, Uruguay and Chile.

I'm so proud to be Colombian. We have as much or even more success historically as Belgium does and they are apparently the best in the world

Since the world cup Belgium has barely played a top 20 team and have won one of those games (draw against Netherlands, one win and one loss against Switzerland), beating only minions (scotland-2, Russia, Cyprus, Iceland-2, Kazakstan), for the last year. Yeah, very good ranking method.

FIFA rankings are about accumulating points over years.
Italy has been way too inconsistent other than the Euro.

They recently tied Bulgaria and Switzerland for instance.

Def doesn’t take into account how shit some euro teams are.

euro qualifiers are slightly stronger than Concacaf. Half those countries don’t exist or they play 12 Puerto Rico’s
