nagasaki beat aomori yamada. shame these two schools played each other in the third round.

good bye yuta goke. even bigger shame he will be lucky to even make the bench at vissel kobe.

Yeah, Higashi Fukuoka was eliminated yesterday as well. I read some pople that considered this year's crop of players from this team as being 'darkness generation' for them and it seems like they were right. Still, even weak Fukuoka should be able to go somewhere higher than second round...

The first block is so strong. A small final after another small final. Looking forward to the game between Ryu Kei and Nagasaki So on Friday!

I agree. I remember liking only Yuya Fukuda a bit, well let's see what he'll do in J3 next year.

    Semis: http://www.miomio.tv/watch/cc358842/

In the first game Ryutsu Keizai vs Yaita Chuo, in the second Ueda Nishi vs Maebashi Ikuei.

Well, it was pretty easy to name favorites of those games as both Ryutsu and Ikuei ended this year topping Kanto's Prince League. But in the first semi Yaita showed that they're pretty strong team. This year they advanced to the Prince League (winning over teams like Shohei from Saitama ) and as I haven't seen too much from them I was pretty entertained by them in this game. Level of play was from both teams was pretty high there. When it comes the second semi... well, Ueda Nishi was 4th in the weak Nagano Prefectural League and you could easily say that there was a difference of two classes at least when they played against Maebashi.

Akito Suzuki looks an interesting prospect. Top scorer at the HS championship. Shonan is one of the best clubs for rookie.

Moved here as there are no transfer rumors

That said, I agree. I also liked Hayashi from Takagawa but I think he's going to Daigaku

He signed with Shonan Bellmare, alongside his namesake Jonnosuke Suzuki (central midfielder), both born in 2003 and joined the team straight from high school.

Let's see if Akito Suzuki, Wakatsuki, and Nemoto will get their chances this season and will succeed. If we add Machino to them, Shonan will have four promising U-23 attackers with high potentials.

For the first time, Renofa Yamaguchi U18 has been promoted to Prince league Chugoku: https://koko-soccer.com/score/2938
Until now, they were playing in the Yamaguchi Prefecture's U18 league. This is a great achievement for the club.

Also, Kamimura Gakuen High School defeated Cerezo Osaka U-18, thus it has been promoted from Prince League Kyushu to Premier League West, While Cerezo Osaka has been relegated from Premier League West to Prince League Kansai: http://www.jfa.jp/eng/news/00031226/

This is impressive, a high school team from a small town beating the youth team of one of the most powerful clubs in the country, I don't think this happens in any other country in the world. Can someone please explain me how is this possible? How can High School teams compete at the same level of professional clubs' academies, and produce so many talents?
