Happy anniversary to my beautiful wife. Twenty-five years down, a wonderful lifetime ahead. #BuckeyeForLife #BuckeyeLove pic.twitter.com/0FzleuyIZL— Jim Smith (@jsmithsportsatl) July 31, 2018
I for one actually liked Jim Smith. Not easy being the GM of a team like CBus at the time he was. He also did a great job for Atlanta. I know people think he's snake like (maybe he is), but I had pleasant experiences with him.
Meantime, Steve Clark did not train Tuesday and has been waived. Olsen did not comment. Another MLS club is likely to claim him via waiver process. If that occurs, DCU frees up some cap space for possible free agent moves before roster deadline next month.— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) August 14, 2018 Steve Clark has been dropped by DC. I'm not convinced Hamid is better than Clark but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. I hope he's picked up by another team.
Awaiting word on goalkeeper Steve Clark's next destination after being waived by D.C. United this week. Portland is/was interested. Chicago was a candidate at some point. #mls— Steven Goff (@SoccerInsider) August 16, 2018 Clark in limbo.
He's certainly better than Ketterer and probably better than Kempin. We may be looking for a starting keeper next year and I'd like to upgrade our current backup.
