That played right into Martinez hands, made him be a step ahead in the gameplan.
You guys are still overrating what Martinez did. Brazil had the better opportunities in that game to score, in both quarters, and should've been up at least 1-0 before the Fernandinho own goal. Tite can't be blamed for TS hitting the post on a tap in of sorts and Paulinho half asleep on the rebound. But he can be blamed for taking Fernandinho. Tite lost it before the Cup even started with that decision.
Giroud played very good and he was important for the team. He was great in the match against Argentina, his assistance on Mbappe' s goal was excellent. Guivarc'h at WC 1998 played nothing, he was something like Serginho and I think worse than him.

I agree. Game could have been different with Brasil in lead. But, game could have been different with Mexico scoring in the first 20 and then sitting back to counter and do a Germany. That was their plan. Brasil never really did dominate. Brasil managed the Serbia game well but even against Swiss and Costa Rica were stretched. Brasil was one dimensional. Costa or Willian is same plan different version. I felt France didn't dominate but always had something in reserve - they never looked threatened. Their game after 1-2 down to Arg was outstanding. Admittedly, Arg was a shell of team. Belgium pulled out a desperate planB against Japan. When they did they were overwhelming. I want the good old days back (even a little, along with the European style organization). Looking forward to a few craque mid-fielders and strikers (or a Neymar in top form) in the near future.
I am hopeful that we will get the 6 stars in our jersey in 2022.....I will be 45 then. I am quite a optimistic that in my lifetime i will see brazil win at least 8 world cups
No one had a problem with calling Fernandinho before the World Cup, he had a good season and in general wasn’t bad under Tite. Tite made two mistakes keeping taking a lot of unfit players limiting our bench options and not dropping Gabriel jesus sooner.

The rest of team could have made up for that ( giroud for example didn't have a single shot on target and France are world champions ) . I really liked the 2014 version of neymar. He looked like somebody who can change the entire complexion of the game single handedly . In 2018 he looked like an average player wanting to make an impact but always falling short of expectations ( injury or whatever maybe the reason )...Marcelo may have been tired after his champions league participation. Fagner was always the weak spot.

We have black people here, muslims, asians, white people. All are French the same. In some parts of the country we have more black French people than white French people, so stop all this racist bullshit. They were all born in France (except maybe 1 or 2) so which country are they supposed to play for ? Switzerland ? Most of the time they don't even know the country of their grandfather / grandmother... It just doesn't make sense. They lived all their lives in France you know. Neymar was coming off 3 months without playing any sort of competitive football. He was essentially playing himself into fitness this tournament. Marcelo can’t used fatigue as an excuse when Modric was player of tournament playing multiple games in extra time. In fact, now that I think about it, he was the worst performer out of all Real Madrid performers in the World Cup.

That's not the point. He is simply making a comment that they are French by birth if the original post is implying that they are not. That's all that matters. Immigration / emigration has happened in most all countries at one time or another and will continue to occur. Wether they are 1st / 2nd / 3rd generation French is irrelevant It's obvious that from a NT footballing perspective they have benefitted from this migration specifically from African countries.
