Checking in late. Saw the game with my dad, while visiting him in Texas. Although it was sad that Mexico couldn't get the job done against Sweden, the end result exceeded by expectations. What can I say? Korea got very lucky. Mat Hummels and others had very good looks at several headers. Bury any one of them, and the outcome is very different. Without VAR, the goal would have been ruled out.

Seeing Japan play skillfully and valiantly against Belgium hopefully lights a fire under KFA's ass and get them to improve player development. Korea's utter lack of basic ball skills and ability to hold the ball for any appreciable amount of time was shocking.

Also, Jo made some great saves. Hopefully, he continues his upward trend.

I still remember that game. We could have gone through to the second round if we managed to pull off a draw.

If Wiki is correct, the goalie (Choi) was subbed out at half time and replaced by our beloved Lee "Galbi" Woon Jae.

Since TV subscription allows me to rewatch all WC games, I'm taking advantage of it.

KYG and SHM's goal vs Germany still feels exciting. What a match!

@Seol Korea Yes. Sorry about the delay, as it is mentioned in the multimedia thread I had to deal with some pending things. But the match is already uploaded. Enjoy and Best regards! :)

Your contributions are greatly appreciated. I remember when I used to post past KNT matches in the multimedia thread i.e. international friendly matches prior to the 2002 FIFA World Cup and whatnot, but nowadays there's hardly anytime for me to download/seed or record/upload, so thanks man.
