    G. Sakai is awful. Can barely control the ball.

Terrible just terrible. Poland is playing like crap, Japan is playing similar to be honest none of the 6 new guys are playing so that it would make you think that he deserves s place in the starting line up.
    In fact
    - Muto
Messes up the killer pass to Usami, made one good shot but generally nothing of note

    - Gotoku Sakai
He was trying but he was messing things up in attack on several ocassions

    Yamaguchi
Actually messed up for 2-3 counter attacks and was one of the biggest to blame for goal

    Makino
    Nothing to add specially

    Usami
Losing a lot of balls could have done a lot better

    Okazaki
    He is trying but poor

I can't relax until Japan scores a goal. Poland are not playing very well but still they had have a few good chances, especially the one Kawashima saved. I hope around 60-70 mins, Nishino can make some changes to increase the tempo and hopefully allow Japan to score a goal.

Muto, Yamaguchi and Gotoku Sakai are screwing up the counter attacks with their bad decision making and indecisiveness, particularly Muto.
Usami is just decent only, could have been quicker with his crosses in the final third as well.

Okazaki at least has some energy.

The other 21 players on the pitch all can't give a f(ck.....

Worth remembering too it's about 38°C on the pitch.

The Colombia Senegal game is 0-0 also.....and James got pulled off for an injury.....

We need a goal. I think they can get it.

Japan can’t finish chances with a shot, which has been resulting in counter attacks. Blame is on muto, usami, and gotoku.

Looking at Usami he seems lifeless and lacking confidence.....he looks almost depressed.

Yamaguchi is the main liability. I think there's value in having on Gotoku at right midfield. Especially in our defensive set pieces he's quite physical. Makino so far not guilty of much other than a few sloppy clearances.

Yamaguchi is terrible. Why the hell is he walking around and waiting for the ball. He lost the ball right before giving up that needless foul in a dangerous position.
