I don't think we have a prayer without Neymar.
Well hopefully this will not be the scenario as the report from the Brazilian Camp is that Neymar, although limping out of practice today, will be fit for the practice tomorrow.
We need more creativity and offense from our right side.

Neymar should of started from the bench the
whole group stages. Let him gradually play himself back into fitness.

I also disagree, Brazil would not win a World Cup without Neymar. How many competitive game we lost with Neymar? Off the top of my head I’m thinking 1 game. Point is Neymar at his best put Brazil at another level. We are more difficult to beat with him in full flow.

I hope not. With D. Alves gone, Paulinho is the only offense we have on the right side (besides Willian).

That’s it. Only the Colombia game in Copa America 15. Although he missed some important matches that we would lose even with him on the field.

Taison is the new Amarildo! Or Douglas Costa, or ???

I also don't think we absolutely need Neymar, but obviously we are far better with him playing well. I wouldn't want to bet on us winning without him.

But, more important to me, is that Tite not worry about making sure Neymar plays as many minutes as possible and instead worry about winning with what he has on any given day.

If Tite is in the mentality that he needs Neymar and the players can't be convinced they don't, that's a recipe for near-2014 level disaster.

I know they were just friendlies, but they were played at the opponents home soil.

Brazil played pretty good without Neymar. I'm referring to Germany V Brasil and England V Brasil.

Supposedly the coaching staff has had a talk with Neymar with regards to his play.

Guus Hiddink in the Fox sports post game suggested Neymar should be playing closer to the box rather than in the midfield.

NEYMAR seems to be training without any problem. Fingers crossed very tightly.

I think neymar can avoid the tackles to some extent by not keeping the ball with himself for too long. He has to know that the other guys around him are capable enough.

I know I am super late but what happened for Marquinhos to be dropped for TS?

I just think the transition was just organic. Perhaps things Tite saw in training. It's interesting because PSG dropped TS vs Madrid instead of Marquinhos.

I do have to say that in the opening game TS was truly outstanding. Him, Casemiro, and Coutinho were the best on the field. Marcelo and Neymar were the worst based on expectations. Paulinho wasn't good, but I don't expect him to be a difference maker.

I find it unfortunate the bad rep Thiago Silva gets by brazilian fans. I understand the reasons, what he did in the Chile game in 2014 and the silly yellow card in the Colombia game are not acceptable behavior and hurt the team.

But I always liked him as a player. He’s got everything a modern CB should have. He’s positionally sound, very focused, and skillful. He’s not at the peak of his career anymore, but at his peak, he was my favorite brazilian CB since peak Lucio and peak Aldair.

Likely put in for his distribution out of the back. May lose a bit in speed from Marquinhos, but TS is wonderful passer and helps a saida da bola (cross fingers that don't jinx him with that for next game).
Agree whole heartedly. Don't forget Juan...never forget Juan.

"A preocupação é evitar cores parecidas e propiciar uma distinção melhor para telespectadores que acompanhe as partidas por televisões em preto e branco. Por isso, é comum na Copa uma equipe vestir cores claras e a outra, tons escuros."

    is this real life?

Some changes are necessary. The most important of them is Neymar´s haircut.

My prediction is 4:0 - goals: Neymar 2, Jesus, Willian.

He also had a "hand" in our elimination of CA 15.

And was punished enough for that, entering Dunga’s doghouse. David Luiz was never one tenth the player TS is and he always got chances after chances before Tite wisely put an end to his stint with the seleção. He’s one that I never want to see wearing the yellow shirt ever again.

I agree with Luiz. The thing with TS was the stigma of basically emotionally breaking down in a high pressure situation (WC 14). To make matters worse he was the captain. I mean, OK if he didn't want to take the PK, but he went into a corner and isolated himself before the PKs. The captain needs to be the one pumping the players up and instilling confidence. And the yellow card vs Colombia was a bad mental lapse.
