How will we manage against Atlanta's ferocious attack without Steffen and Trapp (assuming they're not back in time for this one)? If a Pedro Santos falls down in the attacking third and the ref doesn't see it, did a foul even occur? Find out this and more on the next thrilling episode of As the Crew Turns! Discuss.
So to win option 7 the match has to result in a tie and a death? Seems kind of creepy | wrong | dank ...?
https://www.mlssoccer.com/post/2018...s-almiron-doubt-wednesday-due-shoulder-injury Almiron might be out for Wednesday. Not that makes a big difference since they have plenty of good midfielders.
I'm abstaining from voting since Adam Jahn Hat Trick isn't an option, but we will win thanks to Atlanta's Eternal Executioner, Adam Jahn.
As long as I live, I'll never forget that playoff game. Given all the circumstances and emotion, I don't think I ever had a more explosive, jubilant reaction to any game, in any sport. I'll be reminiscing tomorrow night. Crew by 1. Just 'cause emotions will be rekindled.
Uh oh. Unkel is good for a couple of reds and a couple of PKs in a match. Let's hope he's favoring the home team this time.
If Almiron is out, that helps. Crew by 1. Zach back & just enough attack. Santos scores a goal that counts!
Artur needs to pull his head out of his ass and be the player we need him to be. He's struggled on the attacking side of the ball the last several games. I'm not sure it can be entirely attributed to missing Trapp, but i can't discount that. When he plays well in that facet of the game he still doesn't show up on the score sheet. But he pulls a central midfielder and gets the ball to Pipa or a wide player with a bit of extra space so that they can wind up on the score sheet. He's not been as sure with those attacking passes lately. I hope he turns it around. League's leading scorer will be looking to add to his total. Martinez is an amazingly active player. He works for everything he gets by being everywhere. He runs the break like a madman. He finds space with shifty changes of pace and direction. He reacts to lose balls quickly. He's fun to watch. I hope our defenders stay on his hip rather than watching him like I will be. I like Zardes against their central defense though. I hope he moves closer to Martinez in the scoring race. Choo Choo!!! 2-1 good guys. Go Crew!
Does anyone have two extra Nordecke tickets lying around for tonight's game (or know someone that does)? Asking for an old friend of the board, @3stripe.
Flogging Molly plays Columbus tonight. I think you'll be able to squeeze a few people into some empty Nordecke seats.
@hardhead - Good moderator, great helper to find tickets. Two tickets found (at normal price). Thank you as always, BS Crew community. We just use season tickets so I am not that familiar these days with the buying of individual game tickets. A huge bunch of Nordecke tickets are available through Crew (boooo)... but at a couple dollars more than if you would have bought them maybe yesterday or the day before. New problems, new solutions!
I am wondering now if we will even get to play. The radar looks awful. Thunderstorms happening now and on a line from here all the way back to Indianapolis, mostly around I-70.
Cloudy but dry here in downtown Dayton. I think Roger Glass Stadium is available. I'd uh... support a quick little relocation for tonight's game.
