Didn't you make it to the Wednesday match against the Union earlier this year or am I imagining things?
How the hell is it that no one here told me that this kind of thing was possible? I want me some Precourt urinal stickers right f*cking now. And jnlike FratAss Tony, I pay cash. Somebody help an old guy out here. @KHT_Crew ? Anybody? I am stone dead serious.
When you're trying to do business with somebody, don't rile him. I know I'm being a fuddy-duddy, but in this case that's the practical answer.
Pee S (insert one of hundreds of words beginning with the letter S) Vermin... Has a nice ring to it...
I'm willing to make an exception. He's been pretty much the only member of the media to actually call this what it is, potentially risking his job.
Have you not been paying attention? Moreno has stood up, consistently, and at risk of his own career, for whats right in regard to the Crew. Cunningham? Warzycha? Maize? Dooley? Fraser? What have they done? What have they risked for us? Show me where any one of them has, to use the vernacular, spoken truth to power? Is it your position that we should honor gutless, silent cowards over someone who has shown us courage and loyalty. Piss on all of those guys. Moreno stands with us, and I stand with him. Period. When Maize grows a pair, let me know. As for Dooley, he is dead to me. Dead.
Robin ********ing Fraser in the circle of honor before Moreno or Gaven? What did he do again? Win MLS defender of the year in a bunker defense and on an Andulis team that crashed out in remarkably awful fashion? Give me Moreno, Gaven, or Chad mother ********ing Marshall (who should still be playing for Crew, but that is another rant for another day) over Fraser. I can only hope to never see the day that Crew’s pecking order for greats gets to Robin Fraser. That is assuming of course that Crew’s Circle of Honor will continue to grow. And I dearly hope (as we all do) that it will.
Dooley badmouthed Fitz in an attempt to take his job. Its why he got traded to New York. I was a huge Dooley fan but his disgraceful attempt to get Fitz fired was disgusting.
Real talk.... Moreno has been a good voice for the Crew. That's important. He's played for the Crew. He's a champion. He's immortal in Columbus with good reason. He's also a complete hot take talking head on ESPN. It's good he's on our side. But watch any show with him, Steve Nicol, Craig Burley it's shit television. And Moreno comes off as dumb as the rest of them, if not worse. So yeah, we should obviously appreciate Moreno for what he's done in Columbus. For 2008 especially, and his speaking out this year....it's more than some other former Crew players have done. But stepping out of the Save The Crew spectrum, he's a bit of a dunce. Hate me all you want, it's true....
Save your manufactured anger for someone other than Robin Fraser. He was nothing less than an excellent defender in Columbus, and a stand up individual. Robin Fraser was excellent for the Crew, and I'd love to welcome him back to this organization in any capacity.
Two suggestions: "You'll be in and out of the concession stand lines in less time than Ian Woan was with us." "This first half of the first game of the season brought to you by Freddie Butler"
