This is the thread where we discuss about our manager Shin Taeyong. I'm actually thinking about making this thread for every future managers. I should have made this long time ago tbh.

When I mean sack I'm saying after the WC because it's to late for that now. Just a clarification.

It's that time of the year again, so let's all discuss.

EDIT: I was actually thinking about starting it, but it's best if you do the honors.

I wonder if he will still be saying that after he and Nishino holds each others hands while exiting the WC.

Watch after this WC he'll say "our players didn't play like I asked them too, and many of our players got injured. I tried my best with what was available. It's time to stop looking to the past and focus on what is ahead which is the Asian Cup."
Also, he has failed miserably in both the Olympics and U20 world cup, so he needs to stfu about winning anything. He won't win jack shit.

Seriously if KFA still allows STY to continue they'll basically throw the next whole generation to plummet again. We need a better manager that can lead the next generations of footballer which I believe is pretty promising.

I really don't like STY but guys... we can't do this managerial merry go round anymore. Unless there's a very clear competent manager out there (which I don't think exists for us atm). Does anyone here trust the KFA to find someone legit? I sure as hell don't

Blame it on the players, don't blame it on me...blame it on the players, don't blame it on me. Seriously STY would be an awesome singer by singing parody lyrics of actual song.

Also i got this: all my line ups are just illusion based on nothing and confusion, don't you think i'm lost...no more time the 3 back is certain.

True but for me STY is a new low. I've never liked him since after the Olympics. I objected it when he got hired as u20 manager and I've objected even more when he became our senior manager. So I hope people don't give me that hindsight bull shit.
Also it depends what KFA wants I guess. That's what it all boils down to. Do they want to prolong this suffering that has happened for 5 years or are they going to make the change that is needed. Do they even care about the future? It's up to them.
Seriously people think we are asking for Pep but all we're asking for is a proper competent manager. I actually have a low bar. Personally I would want someone young, ambitious and up to date with tactics but if we get someone decent I'll stfu and won't complain about our manager. I'll accept that our players just sucks. But KFA has to use a decent criteria. None of this "it was a nice weather" bs. None of "pass it to the next guy we know" bs.
I'm going to trust Hong Myungbo.

Sorry guys, I think he is a good coach for Korean standards. Would I love a manager that has been tested in the wild of the Europa and the Champions League? Sure. But Shin is a definite improvement over Shitler and I'm not going to compare Shin to a manager that has been tried and tested in Europe, 2 weeks before this tournament. We just got to roll with the punches and be grateful that Uli Shitler isn't at helm.

No point of sacking him unless we have a decent candidate. What's the point if we are gonna hire another clueless retard?

Why don't they just obliterate the Kfa from top to bottom and get a new organisation in without any Koreans so that culture doesn't play a part in making important decisions. Have you guys ever seen that episode of air crash disaster where the Korean Air accident happened because the copilot couldn't go against the captains decision because of his seniority? Even though the captain was completely wrong and the copilot knew it? I feel like that is the type of shit that goes on in the background behind the Kfa.
Just abolish the Korean system Altogether and get Europeans in to rule the Kfa. Then start seeing the changes.
What do you guys think about my opinion on this?

Gunes and Hiddink were waving their hands in front of KFA's face. Their job isn't that hard. Talented managers are right in front of their faces and they still hired STY the guy who failed miserably in all major tournaments leading up to his hire.

    1. Ralph Hasenhüttl

    -Age 50
    -Most currently managed RB Leipzig

Was impressive in his accomplishment with RB Leipzig. Promoted them all the way to Bundesliga 1 and achieved high position in the first season.

    2. Markus Weinzierl

-Former manager of FC Augsburg and Schalke 04

Arguably did well with FCA. Familiar with Korean players (sort of). Based on FC Augsburg's scout system, Weinzierl may have considerable information on up and coming Korean players.

    3. Sinisa Mihajlovic

-Former Serbian player, managed several clubs in Italy
-Serbia National Team head coach (2012-13).

Per Wikipedia reference, Mihajlovic's free-kick expertise was praised by Zlatan Ibrahimovic-- crediting the former star for teaching him free-kick. This may be useful for the KNT (set pieces).

    4. Slaven Bilić

-Managed Croatian national team (senior and youth level)
-Club managerial career spans gigs in Croatia, Russia, Turkey, and England
-Was impressive early on in his stint as West Ham utd coach.
