Last match I watched live was the Asian Cup Final with Australia and I've been only been lurking for KPA news since... Looking forward to watching Korean football again and getting depressed with the rest of ya lot who have been sticking through thin and thin. How did you guys do it. Can someone reassure me that this is just a dark era in Korean football that will pass and we'll have better youth players climbing the ranks? Is our 'Golden Age' Project actually working?
Doubt it. Honduras basically brought their B-team. http://sports.news.naver.com/kfootball/news/read.nhn?oid=139&aid=0002091878 Plus it seems like they are not even training properly.
Where are you guys planning to watch the match? It seems like Hola is blocked on Naver for live stream.
If STY is serious about playing LSW in the WC, then he needs to throw him into the starting line up against Honduras and B&H. The kid needs to up his game, especially against physical teams like Honduras and more importantly Sweden. He also needs to not embarrass KNT by being more judicious and guileful about earning fouls.
LJS wont be playing against Honduras. STY also says he will test new strategies with new players. High chance of starting i guess?
Did it ever cross their mind to set up friendlies with Japan's group opponents? I think at least one of them would've accepted.
Yes. We just had a friendly against Poland and there is a friendly against Senegal coming up, and we had a friendly against Colombia last year. That's all 3 teams in their group. Doubt it. They probably wanted a walkover match where they wanted to feel good about themselves, like our match vs Tunisia before the last one. They also came with their B team and barely trained, the only problem was that they actually beat us 1-0.
mm, i disagree a bit. while the Korean media is viewing the match as prep for Mexico (KFA is truly stupid if this is the logic), i personally see it as test for fringe players vs Honduras. in this regard.. Honduras isn't a bad friendly. to test out players & experiment with tactic/formation. according to Shin TY, KNT will start the match with 4 back .. but I'm sure we will see 3 to 5 back system later in the game. Shin TY clearly has a starting XI in mind (rather we or I disagree or not.. that is another matter) so.. i think we will get a good idea on who the last 3 will be cut depending on performance.
man.. i hate myself. Fking hate KFA but cant stop watching matches. I might just decide after seeing the starting 11.
Damn why did we have to schedule Honduras?! They play dirty af. Hope none of our players get injured.
obv the defense not so much but yo considering that we dn't have KJS LJS or KSY available this is pretty close to our best team imo
