👏 Presenting the #ACL2018 Team of the Week for Matchday 5️⃣! Which individual performance impressed you the most? pic.twitter.com/lZfl6xRS36— #ACL (@TheAFCCL) April 5, 2018 SBK got selected for team of the week.
Jeonbuk 3-0 Kitchee Jeonbuk wins thanks to the three substitutions Lee Seung Gi, Kim Shin Wook and Lim Sun Young who all came in and scored in the second half. They go through as no.1 and face Buriram United in the next round. Tianjin 3-2 Kashiwa Kwon Kyung Won scored an assist and played through. Tianjin's facing Ghuangzhou in the next round. Cannavaro derby! Side notes: Kim Bo Kyung played through, Yun Suk Young was subbed in at 85th Kawasaki 2-2 Ulsan Ulsan drew Kawasaki after being 0-2 behind. It seems like both teams played with a B team. Ulsan will face Suwon in the next round, who won 1-0 against Kashima Antlers yesterday. Side notes: Jung Sung Ryong and Park Joo Ho got rested. Other teams: Ghuangzhou won 3-1 against Yoon Jung Hwan's Cerezo Osaka. Yang Dong Hyun and Kim Young Gwon played through. Kim Jin Hyun wasn't used. Jeju lost 0-1 to Buriram United. Big disappointment.
Jeonbuk's defense without Kim Min Jae and Hong Jeong Ho is an invitation to score. They are 1-3 behind against Buriram!? And Kim Shin Wook and Lee Yong should stay away from the NT.
Jeonbuk is really suffering from injuries this year. Kim Min Jae, Hong Jeong Ho, Kim Jin Su, Park Won Jae, Lee Jae Sung CB, Han Kyo Won... Lee Jae Sung and Choi Chul Soon are visibly tired.
Best game of the season thus far. Matthew-Kwak Kwangsun-Koo Jaryong trio again proved they are the best back-3 combo Suwon can offer. Other than KKS's dumb mistake that gave Ulsan penalty kick, they were nearly flawless for 90 minutes. So long to Kim Gunhee. Glad to see this guy scored two goals in his last home game before joining the service. It was so funny when Frente Tricolor sang 진짜 사나이 for him lol Finally Waguninho turned out to be what Suwon fanatics had expected during pre-season period. Cho Won-hee is back to where he was during late 2000s. His tremendous work rate gives Suwon extra edge during critical moments. Shin Hwa-yong prevented potential game-changing moment. That save was worth of two goals scored.
What is the strongest East Asian team among the last 4 teams standing? I think Al Duhail is the strongest Western Asian team among last 4.
I had actually looked forward to this match-up. I want payback so bad. We definitely need to start beating both Seoul and Jeonbuk on regular basis.
lol, Seo Jung-won resigns and then your team beats Jeonbuk shortly after. Some twist of fate ain't it? He should've been gone a long time ago. EDIT: Seo Jung-won gone, Suwon beats Jeonbuk 3-0, Korea onto the finals at the AG. Party worthy indeed.
If Seo were still at the bench, he would again run 3-4-3 and put subs too late; the score would have been something like Jeonbuk 4, Suwon 1 or such.
