@Sirk - You son of a gun, you had me crying at work. https://www.patreon.com/posts/18741975 [Jon Busch's 2018 Odyssey Ends at Home]
Was a good read. And I was minded of when I hung up my own boots 12 years ago (I actually left them at the center circle--like the wrestling guys). Mais was right--"you will know when you know". I was only an amateur, of course, which is a much different thing. But the feelings are much the same. It helped to have the Crew and coaching youth soccer for a few years. But I think I've only kicked a ball around once in the past 5 years (at the Crew run games at the stadium last season). It's never completely out of your blood though.
Good for Danny. I wonder how many reds he'll get from the sideline. NEWS ➡️ Indiana Men's Soccer Adds Danny O'Rourke to Coaching Staff - https://t.co/dgaRuX9vTh#Q49 #GoIU ⚪️🔴 pic.twitter.com/Hvo1Iyl3tc— Indiana Men's Soccer (@IndianaMSOC) May 16, 2018
For some reason, I posted in the Austin Maybe thread about this. But credit to him for finishing his degree.
Actually, there was a coach in between, Mike Freitag. Todd was an assistant under him and then was at Wisconsin for a year as head coach before taking the IU job, Mais then took the assistant's job under Todd. I did have to look this up--as I thought Todd replaced his dad directly.
GBS says he’s happy at Boca (and why wouldn’t he be), but MLS’ tactical evolution has drawn his attention & he’d like to manage in the U.S. in the future https://t.co/b3jHZYtFol— Jon Arnold (@ArnoldcommaJon) May 29, 2018 I love that man god.
Greggggg becomes next USMNT coach. Guillermo becomes new Columbus coach. Crew is saved in multiple ways. It all works out in the end.
Someone needs to tell Hesmer to STFU, he's trying to Coach-block us on Twitter... 1001900015118364672 is not a valid tweet id
Former nearly Crew legend Mix Diskerud got his big move to the Korean league today!! Woot woot!! http://www.espn.com/soccer/manchest...n-mix-diskerud-to-k-league-side-ulsan-hyundai
I think NYCFC signed him to a guaranteed contract so MCFC moved him offshore to free up MLS funds for better players.
Umbro. Delighted to report the news that @MixDiskerud will further be cementing his relationship with Umbro in our hometown, as he proudly continues his footballing development with a 4,5y Manchester City FC contract. (1/3) pic.twitter.com/JEYJdjoTPZ— Umbro (@umbro) January 27, 2018
