    @al ittihady fair enough.

My background focuses on South American football. I have seen similar shenanigans where money gets funneled to Spanish clubs. Meanwhile, the foreign player is used a trading chip to justify the fund transfer: he becomes stuck in a team that never wanted to field him.

Levante is fighting against relegation. Its coach Juan Lopez Muñiz called in the entire 25-men club roster for training. It works well to build up expectations on social media.

Only 18 get called for game-day. Al-Muwallad did not make it for game-day.

    25 men called for training - http://www.levanteud.com/es/info/muniz-convoca-a-toda-la-plantilla-para-el-partido-ante-el-betis

18 men roster to face Betis -

So how is this fruitless deal going? Levante recently acquired a new coach, but still nothing have changed for Fahad. No Saudi player has made any debut except for 1 as far as i know.

I don't think any one will be playing till the last match days when you don't have to achieve anything...

Don't know to laugh or cry. Such a sad sight seeing a good player reduced to this. How long will it take to get his touch and confidence back?

    In other news...

The final is going to be one hell of a shitshow. After stupidly offering free tickets (again), touts predictably snatched all the tickets within hours. Cue the outcry, and now what do they do? No tickets. A total free-for-all .

aha ha hha haha hhaha hhaaa haaaa ha haha ....aaah my belly

And they change their mind again. Now they announce they will put tickets on sale (at the inflated price of 50 riyals)!

Ittihad wins Kings Cup after beating Faysaly 3-1 .
Finally the season comes to end , after roller coaster news and shake-ups in clubs and league..

Ittihad needs to improve a lot in defence , & finally we can get rid of Kahraba..

Anyone can update me what's the issue with referee Fahd Mardashi...??

That final was a real soap opera. Glad we had a happy ending!

Still a lot of uncertainty around Ittihad, so I don't know who's staying or leaving. Mugairin is saying what the fans want to hear, but there's no concrete turnaround plan for the club. I would like some stability in the squad (and keep the manager), a few signings is fine, but not wholesale change.

As for Fahad al-Mirdasi, no idea. They say he contacted the president of one of the finalists. The public nature of the press statement has the fingerprints of Turki al-Sheikh's impulsiveness.

I want Kahraba , Akaichi, Ziad Muwallad to leave. Carlos is sure stay and club has to keep at any cost.
We need one defender, one full back , 2 midfielders ( make it 3 if Fahd stays back at Levante & a striker .
As for Seirra is concerned , according to his statements he needs time think if he wants to renew contract or no. Ofcourse , he will look at options if he get chance this season to sign new players and the club is relatively stable or else Hilal or Nasser will definitely approach him to take over..

But is it confirmed we feature in next year ACL ?

Yup, you should be in ... Alahli will probably play a play off to qualify.

The AFC visited the club about a month ago. Don't know what their assessment was. There's very little clarity on the status of the club regarding it's legal and financial troubles. So I don't know if they gave the green light or not. Hopefully we can compete.

Regarding Sierra, it's not looking good. The GSA announced the new club management (which I have a lot of reservations over) and the director of football is none other than Khamees al-Zahrani, who has been trying to get Sierra sacked all season.

    I don't like at all !!!

First Seirra refuses to continue with Ittihad & now someone tells us to appoint Ramon Diaz as coach..o_O

Slowly league is becoming like the kids playing football, my football my rules I choose who to play when to play & where to play ! We are heading to sad reality of fans loosing confidence in Saudi League..

The last week has been a real circus, with Turki al-Sheikh at the centre cracking the whip and all the clowns in the "tent" juggling. All very embarrassing.
You start to think what's the point having competing clubs at all, just turn it into a worked shoot ala WWE.

BTW regarding Sierra, who knows the truth, but the Bollywood film they've spun is something else: Arsene Wenger huh :ROFLMAO:

Whatever the details, I don't blame the man for leaving.

What they need to invest on is Highschool coaches and above. Send these saudis to europe and allow them to learn how to teach younger players.

KSA U21 advance to the quarter-final at the Asian Games, with 4-3 win against China U23. China had only conceded once until today and seemed to be stunned much of the game, but came back strongly at the end.

Any reason why Adel Ezzat resigned from Saudi FA president ?

Apparently he resigned his post to become president of AFC.

Adel Ezzat resigns from Saudi Arabia post ahead of AFC presidency bid

I don't think they need new stadiums now..Lots of projects are pending ..I wish they had completed Prince Abdullah Stadium in Jeddah by now & talk later about building new ones.. Riyadh got three stadium now - Malaz could be given to Nasser, KSU goes to Shabab & Hilal might get King Fahd or a new stadium..
Ittihad & Ahli can share Prince Abdullah stadium..
