#U17EURO Group C: Republic of Ireland, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denmark, Belgium— UEFA.com (@UEFAcom) April 5, 2018
Cavar made his first team debut for Frankfurt against Bayern https://bih.ba/250009-marijan-cavar-debitovao-protiv-bayern-munchena
Really excited to see what he does in the Bundesliga. Seems to be someone we should invite to the A team in the very near future.
Beat Denmark 3-2, Malik Memisevic who just switched over from Germany scored twice. Looking at he German youth thread, they rated him highly.
19-year old winger Amar Catic signed his first professional contract with Dutch champions PSV Eindhoven today.
Forgot to post this the other day, but our U21s won 2-0 away to Albania in a friendly on Monday. Lineup: Muminovic (S. Besic 81') - Kadusic, Mihojevic (Radeljic 74'), Osmankovic, Sabanovic (Vego 81') - Cavar, Danilovic (Hajdarevic 56') - Peco (Andjusic 56'), Dujakovic (Eskic 56'), Kuzmanovic - Mulahusejnovic (Smajic 81') Goals from Dujakovic and Kuzmanovic. First one reminds me of Vedo's at that exact same stadium in 2010.
Zeljo signed Mihael Modic from AC Milan, his bother Andrej is also currently at the club. Zrinjski signed Bosnian-Norwegian Erman Markovic.
Damn, just two more players with potential going back to the comforts of Bosnian league. Hopefully they turn it around but history isn’t kind to these types of cases...

20 year old Nardin Mulahusejnović, easily one of the most interesting players in the region, leaves Zrinjski Mostar to join NK Maribor. Spent latter part of last season on loan at GOŠK Gabela. pic.twitter.com/AjwzCVGisp— Runar Nordvik (@RunarNordvik) June 29, 2018

Really bad showing from the U-21s today, they didn't even create a single chance of note. We could have played for another 90 minutes and still never look like scoring. And to top it off, we conceded directly from a corner. Now they'll have to go to Portugal next month and win to even earn a play-off spot. They really blew it today which is a huge shame given how good they were doing in recent games. Our U-17s beat Serbia 2-1 today in a friendly, at least. They'll play another one against them on Thursday. Our U-19s drew and beat Georgia last week also, 1-1 and 2-1 scores.
The U-19 women's team has lost two of their five qualifiers by a score of 10-0. Whoever the coach is there has got to go immediately...
Summarizing the performances of the youth teams this week... U-21s Portugal 4-2 BiH They needed a win, but the loss ended their hopes of reaching the finals as they finished 3rd in the group with 18 points. It's a shame that they weren't able to reach the finish line after doing so well for so long, but sometimes you just have to bemoan the fact that you were in a group with 2 better teams. Romania went unbeaten and deservedly beat us home and away while Portugal has talent playing regularly for Benfica, Porto, Wolves, etc. Very difficult to topple these teams. In another group, our chances would have been better but still proud of Marinovic and the boys nonetheless. Finally the U-21s had a good campaign after a long dark time. U-19s BiH 1-3 R. Ireland Netherlands 6-0 BiH Faroe Islands 1-2 BiH Terrible showing from Slaven Musa in his first campaign after taking over from Karacic. Zero improvement in the results of his predecessor. Again, Ireland and Holland are simply better with better players but losing by these margins, especially with a team of players who have U17 Euro experience in recent years, is inexcusable. In any normal country, Musa would be canned, but knowing our FA, they'll give him another 2-3 years minimum before replacing him becomes a thought. Here's hoping I'm wrong and they hire someone actually competent for the job next time. U-17s BiH 8-0 Gibraltar BiH 1-1 Iceland Ukraine 3-2 BiH Mixed feelings about this campaign. Great start but a first half red card and stupid PK given away by our goalie was the only reason we didn't beat Iceland. Then a catalogue of mistakes from one of the CBs yesterday led to a loss to Ukraine. We finished 3rd in the group, but still hold one of the four best 3rd placed spots which would get us into the elite round for a 6th straight year, but we have to play the waiting game now to see if we'll get there. Nonetheless, this team needs more defensive reinforcements and maybe another couple attacking players if it is to seriously fight for a chance to qualify again, far too brittle at the back as it stands.
