here's highlights of FA Cup action between Bristol City & Sunderland that Galloway girl(scored Sunderland's 2nd goal) they really need to write a song about her!
Sunderland 's second goal was scored by Rachel Pitman... Great team performance tonight! 👏🏻Buzzing to get the 3️⃣ points and to score the winner in my home town. Games like this make the many months of rehab all worth it 🙌🏻 #HTL 🔴⚪️ https://t.co/mJKsrgdTFz— Rachel Pitman (@rachelspitman) February 10, 2018

Chrystal Dunn's leaving Chelsea for NC Courage. Dunno exactly when though. If Chelsea wants to win the CL, then they will really need her, as she played really well on the few matches I've seen of Chelsea, but the feeling their coach didn't want her to be a goal scorer https://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2018/02/dunn-leaves-chelsea-ladies.html
The FA has just rebranded the 4 top tier in women's football Tier 1 FA Women’s Super League ( was FA WSL 1) Tier 2 FA Women’s Championship ( was FA WSL 2) Tier 3 FA Women’s National League - Northern & Southern Premier ( was FA Women's Premier league) Tier 4 FA Women’s National League - Division 1 Northern, Midlands, SE & SW ( was FA Women's Premier league)
15 teams have applied for the licenses. The FA is not naming them and not saying if they have applied for Tier1 ( FA WSL) or Tier 2 ( Championship)

I definitely recommend the FA streams on facebook; they got a fan chat room of which the game commentators often check & quote from/. Man City got as much as 10 players on the soon to be the #2 ranked NT in the world. However, I thought they were thoroughly outplayed by the US in the last SBC game, especially tactically & speed wise. This where Arsenal comes in, will there missing SBC players, Nobbs, Williamson & Mead be that missing link in becoming numero uno? Of course has a strong international cast as well with with likes of Kim Little, O'Hara & Miedema as well as several others form the award winning Dutch. Don't know the injury report(who's out) but should be a good game!

here's a replay of the BC/Liverpool match. Recommend at least the first 20 min. of the game as it's English running style soccer at it's best. Hard to believe BC's Mannion. Follis & Paige(Williams) have not made it to the English NT. A bit shorter than most CB's, Mannion handled her spot quite masterfully, doubt if she'll ever score own goals(like so many of EN's other CB's keep doing). Williams I believe is still a youth player, for an FB, was all over the field, but as mentioned 'running' is the key(doesn't always work as Neville failed game vs the US proved at SBC) https://www.facebook.com/video.php?v=1897013857007121
Yesterday's results Yeovil 0 Liverpool 4 Arsenal 1 Chelsea 1 Birmingham 2 Sunderland 0 Man City 0 Reading 2 Things looking preeeeetty interesting in the #fawsl... pic.twitter.com/43b1gGGsqT— Barclays Women's Super League (@BarclaysWSL) April 1, 2018 The top two teams are struggling and do not seem as strong as in previous seasons.
Probably advancing both to the semi-finals of Champions' League is much more taxing to them that they expected it to be? And now the prospect of taking on OL and Wolfsburg is probably as much daunting as it's exciting. Anyway, I don't remember another season with two English teams in the semifinals of Women Champions' League: had it ever happened before?
Chelsea are 50/50 to me, City more like 40/60, Lyon don't seem to be as good as in previous seasons as seen against Barcelona.
Would you say it's actually a lack of strength from the top, or the presence of more strength throughout the league? Both teams seemed more than capable in the UWCL.
Teams like Arsenal are coming back up after a few years in the wilderness thanks to a change of manager, Reading who had a good defensive base got a few good players out of the Notts County demise and Birmingham are going forward as well. Liverpool are actually in decline, Yeovil are part-timers and it shows in the results.
