our match is still on. i can't find any listings for us on espn3. every time i search for us it only brings up results for the blades.
three-figure-post thread on OwlsTalk calling for the immediate reinstatement of ... ... Gary Megson. I said 'worry time', not 'soil-yourself-panicking time'.
after a scoreless first half in which Wednesday seem to have been (judging by commentary) very competitive, they have conceded early in the 2nd half. I can't say I'm conifident.
another loss. fortunately virtually everyone else below is losing. still ... another home loss to Bolton come Saturday, and it'll start getting nervy. the games won't be getting any easier.
that's not the roster - and certainly not the payroll - of a League 1 team. but yeah, they're definitely not getting the job done.
4 point in our last 5 vs them. espn: "Sheffield Wednesday boss Jos Luhukay has declared Daniel Pudil, Frederico Venancio and Sean Clare all fit enough to feature against Bolton. Pudil (ankle) and Venancio (knock) were unused substitutes in the loss to Ipswich on Tuesday night while Clare (ankle) missed the squad entirely. Though Barry Bannan (hip) is close to a comeback having returned to training, Marco Matias' recovery from a knee injury is taking longer than expected. Wednesday's lengthy injury list also includes Kieran Lee (hip), Joost van Aken (hamstring), Sam Hutchinson (hernia), Keiren Westwood (groin) and Fernando Forestieri (knee). Bolton boss Phil Parkinson must determine whether David Wheater and Josh Vela should return to his squad. Both had started the 3-1 loss to Preston but were omitted from the 18-man squad entirely as Parkinson made bold selection decisions in Tuesday's 1-1 draw with Reading. Sammy Ameobi will be checked on having missed out against the Royals with a back problem. Mark Little is available again following suspension and will be hoping for a recall after he too was left out in midweek."
massive win at L**ds today. nuhiu with a brace. absolutely delighted for him. he's taken so much stick from a segment of the fans. take that, nuhiu-bashers!
