looks like sooner or later Chelsea, will have to do without the services of Chrystal Dunn. She just announced...............she's having a baby!

Apparently she used an emoji in a tweet that celebrities often use to announce that they're pregnant. Except she had no idea that's how people are using that emoji.

She's since said that she is not pregnant.

The FA has has announced the first batch of licences for the un-named Tier 1 & 2

    • Tier One: Arsenal, Birmingham City, Brighton & Hove Albion, Bristol City, Chelsea Ladies, Everton Ladies, Liverpool Ladies, Manchester City, Reading Women, Yeovil Town.
    • Tier Two: Aston Villa, Doncaster Rovers Belles, Durham, London Bees, Millwall Lionesses, Sheffield FC Ladies, Tottenham Hotspur
Brighton promoted to Tier 1. Watford demoted to the third Tier as they did not apply for a new licence ( probably over costs). Sunderland from WSL 1 and Oxford from WSL 2 did not apply either but will try to make a collaborative bid in March when the licence are opened to non WSL teams.

West Ham currently in third tier will apply for Tier 1. Man United are courted by the FA as they don't have a women team at the moment. Southampton don't have a women senior team either and might also apply for Tier 1.

Anyone can apply as long as they have a women team around at any level. For an exemple a 10th division team that comes with minimum 400k requested could make a bid for Tier 1.

shlj, last time I mentioned Leah Galton, I recommended her a MUST for England's NT. Who knows?; with her amazingly fast, first step. she could of saved Sampson hide at Euros instead of all those slow pokes he chose instead for his squad.
Now she'll be making the big bucks as she's just signed with Bayern Munich

Galton was called up once by Sampson. Did not turn up because she was injured. Never called back.
Once we know the new manager, we might see some changes in the England set up. Especially as central contracts are renewed or not and certain players might not come back if not protected by a central contract.

at least Mo brought on & started Lawley & Walsh, plus my fave, Greenwood finally got the nod over Stokes the last few games. But from what I read several prominent coaches have all ready turned down the NT job including Cushing, Herdman & even Ellis, and now it's going to be an open call for anybody who ones to apply for it

    shlj,
I'm reading all kinds of stuff now on Mark Sampson; that he slept with as young as 16 year olds in previous coaching jobs as well had an on going affair with Steph Houghton while both married.
Is there any truth to this, or just tabloid fodder?

Well, a good way to decide that could be telling us what your sources are.

All I can say is journalists are chasing the Bristol players allegedly involved and those players refuse to speak to the press. Regarding Houghton, at the time of the alleged affair, both were singles. Are those allegations true, I can't say.

thanks, I was pretty much defending Sampson from all the haters at an Facebook woso forum. But I think I quieted them down with this link on a recent article by one of the FA's investigators who felled that Sampson did get rail roaded by the FA with all the actual evidence presented

    Matchday 7 this week-end

    Saturday

    Bristol v Everton
    Liverpool v Yeovil
    Sunderland v Birmingham

    Sunday

    Chelsea v Arsenal
    Reading v Man City

If City and Chelsea win this week-end, the Champions League places will be more or less sorted. If Arsenal and Reading win, it could become interesting.

this twitter got Neville all ready as coach(but haven't read anything official)

some excellent highlights from last week; big matchup

Ji looks really good, just though she was slow as well as disappointing vs the USWNT. Arsenal's scoring is dominated by the Dutch. Unfortunately one is an own goal, by the GK(considering the agnle. she should of saved that one)
